Your Average rank is #63 in GMTK 2025! Congrats!

Here is the link with all the rankings:

I felt bad that there is no average score, because some teams aimed for all categories, not just one. So I just scrapped the results page and made a table. I agree with Mark that "Overall" is questionable, but I still think "Average" is a valuable score, so I decided to share it.

What a cute game! I like how there are indicators showing which trap is being used or controlled in the loops as it helps keep things from getting confusing.

Very interesting and creative concept that you can control the attacks. The hamster is so cute and I love it. Enjoy playing it so much. Feel so satisfied when solving a puzzle. The instructions are clear. Better to have keyboard control in in-game menu.

The art is so charming, seeing him jump around instead of walking made me smile.

Tutorial was really well made, good job !

Once I got the hang of it, this was a fun little hybrid programming/puzzler game! Very very cute, I feel exceptionally compelled to enable this beautiful rodent to keep stuffing its fat lil cheeks. 10/10.

Super cute game! The art is great, I love the little guy, and the way you introduced the mechanics is top notch!

The only thing I would have to say would be that it is a bit hard to tell what round I am in, so I had a few struggles with that and had to try things out a bit more I think. But I am just really nitpicking to be honest.

Really nice polished game, great work!

Omg, literally my first idea for this jam was about a hamster, and I`m really happy that someone made it! Game is amazing in each way!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! That’s such a fun coincidence, hamster minds think alike, I guess!

We’re really happy you enjoyed the game :)

Really cute game! Super hard tho xD

Developer(+1)

We’re really glad you liked it! Hopefully it was hard in a fun way :P

playing from brwoser, got stuck in "this is the attack loop" it never showed anything and wouldn't let me get pass the trap :( cute hamster and good idea

Developer

Thank you so much! Glad you liked the hamster and the idea :)
Sorry you got stuck there. To get past the trap, you need to move back and forth twice before stepping on it.

The attack loop is shown in the bottom right corner, each square represents a time step.
The darker squares mean the trap is inactive at that step, so in this case, it only triggers on steps 2 and 4.

If that doesn't help, it might actually be a bug. If so, we’d really love to hear more details so we can fix it!
In any way, thanks a lot for trying our game :)

Thank you!! We’re so happy you think so :)

Thought it was quite cute at first but I was so convinced that this would be awesome when the Hamster Mind kicked in. What a fun way to do the loop concept!

Developer

Thank you so much! We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed the loop configuration mechanic and the visuals.
Glad you had fun puzzling your way through :)

I liked the art a lot.

Veryyyy clever puzzles. I'm also really impressed with the way you taught the game. The mechanics were introduced really well and that's something that stands out in games of a jam-length. Art is cute and sounds is great. You both should be proud!

Developer

Thank you so much! We're really happy to hear that the puzzles and the way we introduced the mechanics stood out to you.

Also great to hear you enjoyed the art and sound! We truly appreciate your kind words :)

This is an extremely clever puzzle concept!  I was hooked initially by your graphics but the depth you can get out of an initially simple mechanic is really, really cool.   Very impressive for a game jam, one of my top games from the jam for sure.  Nicely done!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Super happy to hear the concept and visuals pulled you in.
We had a lot of fun exploring how much we could do with the core mechanic, so it’s great to hear it worked for you.
Being among your top games really means a lot!

well i can't rate your game based on it's gameplay since it doesn't seem to load for me(browser and install, just freezes two seconds in)
but art wise this looks very good, the colors the animation and mix of 2d and 3d are really really cute!

Developer

Thank you so much! We're really happy you enjoyed the art, even though the game itself didn't load properly for you.

Sorry to hear it froze. We'd really appreciate it if you could help us reproduce the bug.
May we ask what browser and operating system you're using? :)

Super nice graphics, there is a narrative that the hamster needs to go down. Well-developed system of moves through the cycle. My one of the best games on this jam.

Developer

Thank you so much! We're really happy you enjoyed the visuals and the movement system.
We also love that you picked up on the little narrative element with the hamster going deeper.
Hearing that it's one of your favorites in the jam really means a lot to us :)

Submitted(+1)

Visually, the game is stunning. The puzzles quickly gain real depth and complexity once multiple traps come into play.

Easily one of the best puzzle games — and one of the best games overall of this jam!

Developer

Thank you so much! We're really flattered, and we're super happy you enjoyed both the look and the puzzle depth.
It's such a great compliment to hear that you consider our game one of the best in this jam. That really means a lot to us, especially since we also think your puzzle game is one of the best in the jam :)

Really enjoyed it! The hamster is very cute! And the puzzles are very thought out! Awesome game loop!

Developer

Thank you so much! We're really happy you enjoyed it :)
Glad you liked the puzzles and our little hamster!

Love the concept and the artwork! The attack pattern gives me Ring of Pain vibes—moving around and waiting for those safe moments to attack. Designing the attack patterns myself really adds a lot of depth to the game. It was tough for me at the start, but I had a lot of fun after I understood the machnics.

Developer

Thank you so much! We're really happy you enjoyed the concept and the artwork :)
We actually didn’t know Ring of Pain, but now we're curious to check it out.
Also great to hear that the mechanics clicked for you after a bit. Letting players design the attack pattern was one of our favorite parts to work on, so it really means a lot to hear it added depth for you!
