Pretty good puzzles! had a lot of fun playing through them!

Submitted

Pretty cool idea, liked the fact that it was primarily logic puzzles that could test how well you could block off circuits, especially when the bulbs got introduced, I mainly just think the range for pieces sliding into place when you hover over them could be a liiiittle bigger, and it's a bit frustrating when you drag one piece over the other and they drag along together and bug out. Still tons of potential here, and I do really love the concept.

I enjoyed this well-made puzzle game. While there are a few moments that feel a bit unclear, especially around dead ends in the circuit, overall it was fun to play.
The controls can feel a little cumbersome at times, and the presentation is a bit understated, so adding stronger feedback for successes and failures might make the sense of accomplishment even greater.

It took a little bit to get going and I thought it was overall more on the easy side, since there weren't too many red-herring pieces, but overall I enjoyed it! I eventually got a feel for what parts of the circuit could be completely ignored, so I was able to complete the later levels very smoothly, which felt great (though again, maybe a bit too easy). A post-jam version with tougher levels would be neat. Maybe the grounding mechanic should require another placeable piece, or safe grounding could only be possible for endpoints over a ground plane (like a real circuit board)

You're likely the first person to tell me it was too easy. I've had a lot of people thinking the challenge was either too much or just right for this! LOL I did lean to the easier side for the Jam tho and plan on releasing some more levels in the near future

Fun idea. I think it has a lot of potential to make some crazy hard puzzles. Overall pretty good!

Solid little puzzler, didn't play it to the end, but got a good idea of how it works and had good fun with it. The two main pieces of feedback I have are

- You should probably get to the point sooner. I think one "fill in the blanks" level would be plenty enough for the game. Its strength lies within the fact that you sometimes don't want to put the obvious piece in. I also think the rules description is a little unclear, didn't realize a "stray connection" only included those that had voltage applied (though it does make sense.

- I think the control scheme really needs some work. I want to be able to drag the pieces directly out of my toolbox and onto the board, not click them once to spawn and then click them again to drag. To me, right-clicking to rotate would have been much more intuitive and maybe adding a bin or something where you can drag pieces to to delete them. Would also be nice to be able to swap two pieces without having to delete one of them.

Apart from that, I quite enjoyed the game and some of the puzzles were very cleverly designed, well done!

Developer

I definitely tried to ease players in. After about level 5 is where it really starts to pick up in my opinion. I didn't want to tutorialize too much too quickly and thus split it up a bit. I'll look at shrinking it down when I go to make more levels!

The control scheme is the #1 complaint I've seen! I've actually already fixed the spawning UX bit. I've heard a couple others mention right click to rotate as well and so I'm going to look into changing that and then adding a new way to delete as well! And then swapping has been added on the back-end as well!

I appreciate your feedback! Every bit helps to make it even better than it is!

Very solid puzzler. I think the core mechanic is very sound and easy to understand. The puzzles are not simple but not unnecessarily convoluted either. As silly as it sounds, my favorite part was the ability to cut out parts of the circuit that were no good, it made me feel clever and like I was making my own solution (obviously I was not but I think that is still a very good feeling to have in a puzzle game like this, so nice job!)

Feedback wise, I think perhaps making the areas of the puzzle that fail the circuit test flash red or something might not be a bad idea in a post jam version, it would definitely help with readability.

Thanks for the good puzzles, I enjoyed all of them.

Developer

Thanks! I've definitely heard that exact feedback a number of times so it's on the list to do! I've already begun work on the post-jam version to spruce it up... and even with just a couple hours of focused development from player feedback it already feels a MILLION times better to play!

Hello! I enjoyed your game. The menu music was 10/10 very fitting. I enjoyed where the puzzles were going but I got stuck on the first level with bulbs. I guess skill issue, would like to try more if I could get a hint.  The sound effects and lighting when checking was really cool.  The sound effect for grabbing a part sounds like the discord unmute sound so while I was playing I kept checking if my friend I was waiting for was back yet lol. Also  it would help if the tutorial  showed that you do not have to use every wire on the board. Congrats on submitting!

Developer

Oh! I'll add that lil' bit into my list of fixes for the tutorials!

Hmmm a hint for level 5... The upper left and upper right board spaces should be empty! That's your hint!

Great use of theme, and challenging puzzles!

That's a good concept, great job !

Interesting game! I just can't undo a misplaced module individually — I can only replace it with another one. I'm not sure if that's a bug or a feature, but either way, good job

Developer

Unsure what you mean by replacing it, but you can remove a circuit from the board by right-clicking it.

Submitted

i enjoyed playing the game, don't know if it is a feature or a bug but i could put pieces on top of each other to create a pathway to complete the circuit

Developer

most definitely a bug! One I think I know how to solve… but yeah lol

Submitted

This was a real brain-teaser, it ramped up fast! I’m glad I was able to reach the end though (with a little help from the dev :P). I really liked the music too! I think the core concept is a nice traditional puzzler game, and could really be fun for puzzle-lovers with a bit of polish, QOL features like having rotate be a mouse button, those types of things. And a shiny battery would make it cuter too :) . I’m proud I was able to come up with a unique solution to one of the levels too! >:D

Pixels having weight is a myth and a lie. They're PIXELS and ALL THE SAME RESOLUTION!!!

... But thanks for playin'! I did warn you LOL Definitely planning on making some changes and updates!

This is a solid puzzle game with a good difficulty curve, and the music does go hard!

I think the one thing that would have helped me is maybe having all the pieces you can use spawn from the start and shown visually.  At the beginning of each puzzle I clicked on every piece to spawn them all.  I like that they stacked and I didn't have to click to spawn every time I wanted one, but seeing them side by side would be good.

Awesome job!

Developer

Very fair! I was worried it would take up too much space doing that. The original pieces were actually the size of each board space, so it was a big concern. Obviously they got much smaller but at that point I'd already made all of the spawners! Glad you enjoyed it!

At first I thought it was just a great puzzle game. Then I saw someone else point out the ability to make a SMILEY. Top notch, no notes. Captured the feeling of games from school computers in the early 2000s.

Developer

The ability to make a smiley is the only thing we truly need in our life...

omg you thought it was great? <3

Love the theme, very cool!

This was great! Circuits and puzzles are a lot of fun.

I like the concept. A nice game with potential. If I would improve something, it would be the font. Just select a font that fits more. Besides that, a great game.

Developer

Honestly I went through like 4 different fonts before settling... All of them just didn't look good imported to Godot. It might be a me issue but I settled on that one since it looked... fine?

Submitted

Nice electric circut puzzle, not needing every part is amazing only the things you connected! Great Game!
