Hello Everyone. Whether you're creative person returning to the jam or brand new -

Let's Introduce ourselves for 2025!

  1. Your Name.
  2. Is this your first time competing in the Jam?
  3. What genre or tropes are currently inspiring you?
  4. What do you hope to accomplish or how to you hope to challenge yourself during the jam?

Let's dive right in-

  1. My name is Brite Palette
  2. This will be my second year competing
  3. Weirdcore has really been speaking to me again
  4. I have projects in mind but I think I want to submit more than one game this year. Wish me luck!

1 hi i’m Janie

2 i got one submission in last year, am hoping to bump the number up and spend a bit more time on them this go around too

3 i’ve been kind of getting back into the asethetics of mechs lately

4 i’m planning to collaborate with someone i know and i’m interested in seeing how the collaborative process works and differs from working on my own

1. I am Jake, aka DiscoSoup.

2. This is my third year participating.

3. I am currently inspired by dinosaurs, but if the theme doesn't even come close to what I kind of have in mind already, I will adapt .

4. I am hoping to be able to use my creativity in July. I want to expand my ability to create something. I normally have the Summers off because I work in education, but I'm currently working on a degree so we will see how it goes.

1. Hi, I'm Ross

2. This is my first year participating.

3. I am currently inspired by sentient AI (think more traditional sci-fi like Hal than ChatGPT) and the idea of a floating/bodiless consciousness.

4. I've never written my own TTRPG just modified existing systems I'm hoping to finally write my own and perhaps use it as a stepping stone to develop a more robust system.

(+3)

1) My name is B!

2) This my first time participating.

3) Sci-Fi in general; Transhumanism, AI (NOT GenAI tho lol A sentient or even more specialized AI), Space, etc. But I also lately get inspired by fantasy tropes. I also am inspired by my other hobby (Writing fiction).

4) Creating the system that I can also use for my aforementioned writing hobby. Basically both Solo TRPG AND Writing tool.

1. Hi, I'm Michał!
2. It's my first time competing in this jam.
3. I'm planning to make a game for both this jam and the 1-Hour or Less Jam, so I want to incorporate the actual time limit into the mechanics (and not "just" make a short game); I always liked weird mechanics which try to do something interesting.
4. I want to have a complete and finished game at the end of the jam including playtesting, final text, art, layout etc. and release it!

(+3)
  1. I'm Joel Vreugdenhil
  2. This is my first year competing (I think?)
  3. Recently I've been trying to introduce collection elements into my games, inspired by pokemon and gacha and stuff.
  4. I'm coming off of some big projects so I kinda want to freestyle a little and get back into game jams.
(+3)
  1. Howdy, I'm Choco.
  2. This is my second time.
  3. I like a lot of tech stuff, though recently clones/artificial humans, robotic stuff (such as augmentation), but also stuff like roguelikes and randomization.
  4. Well, I let my game go untested last year. I realized this was a big mistake. It was also hard for the formatting and mechanics being too verbose. This year I want to make sure my game is easier to understand, as well as refined.

1. Bonjour, I'm Peter and I don't actually speak French.

2. Second year in the game jam. It will be my first submission. Maybe even two games, we'll see how it goes.

3. Kaiju and tokusatsu movies and shows. Giant monsters, robots, Ultraman etc.

4. I'm hoping to finish a project. I have a tendency to start things and not finish them.

Hi I'm Louis, aka GoblinGhoul

First time joining in the jam. I dipped my toe into games design with a challenge for 25 pages on drivethru, so excited to blast out a one page!

I'm a big investigative horror fan, so lots of that. Love a good map drawer/world builder. So hopefully manage a couple of submissions.

I'm hoping to get more involved in the scene/community. Looking to get some good design done, that can hopefully be developed further.

Submitted(+1)

hey I come from the pocketquest too! Which one was your game?

Submitted(+1)

the city, a dream. A world builder tarot game. How about you?

Submitted(+1)

nice! mine was Dig Dive Duel and managed to squeeze in a second one with a choose your own path adventure based on it

Submitted(+2)

oh nice. Good effort getting two games sorted!

Hiya all,

  1. I'm Joonas, I go by Simonides here ^
  2. This is my first time in this jam – I'm jamming to practice this thing :) Second jam in total, just finished with the first one.
  3. I'm currently reading and loving Pale Fire by Vladimir Nabokov. The metafiction aspect is really exciting – but not sure how that translates to one-page ttrpg's, yet!
  4. I want to practice layout work, and I now have a fun idea for a unique resolution mechanism – I also want to incorporate the theme as a creative constraint – let's see how these fit together on a single page.

Heyo!

1. My name is Plamen A.

2. This will be my second year joining the jam. I submitted 1 entry last year and really enjoyed the process!

3. Currently inspired by all the life that's happening around my garden, but also high octane action? Whether that will be combined in 1 game or 2 different entries we'll have to see.

4. I'm hoping to submit more than 1 entry this year and just play around with different ideas and mechanics.

Hi!

1. I'm Jules Ampere, Mexican TTRPG designer

2. This will be my second participation ever. I submitted Beast at Heart at the 2023 jam and couldn't participate in the next one. But here I am again to publish my own work.

3. Currently, I wouldn't say there's any particular thing. Maybe industrial design??? and not that much.

4. Finish publishing my current game and maybe getting something else into it.

Hey all!

1. My name is Brandon

2. This is my second year participating in the Jam

3. Right now I'm finding myself inspired by pulp adventures

4. I want to put out something that I collaborated on, I would like to put out multiple projects this year, and I would like to use a resolution mechanic I've never published before.

  1. Hi, I'm Davide
  2. This is my first time in this Jam
  3. I went with Sci-fi because I found a really cool idea and couldn't stop writing.
  4. I am satisfied, I had a strange idea and wanted to make something out of it. I hope people will like it.
Submitted(+2)

Hey hey,

1. I'm KECG

2. Nope. I contributed a couple of weird microgames last year.

3. ...Goblins? And bag-builders, also. I have a fun bag-builder based leveling-mechanic I want to explore.

4. My submissions last year were a bit obscure. I hope to make something more approachable for this one.

Submitted(+2)

Hey!

  1. I'm Nick!
  2. This is my second year doing the jam, last year I made A Perfect Rock.
  3. One of my kids has been watching Pokémon and the nostalgia is strong, so I'm exploring the monster-collection genre.
  4. I want to make a hack of Artefact/The Skeletons, so my goal is to condense those rules into a single page without losing any of the awesome design of those games.

Looking forward to seeing everyone's submissions!

(+3)

Hey, all!

1: I'm Nico, though Othernaut works.

2: This is my first time participating. Looking forward to stretching my brain.

3: Though I don't have any specific genres that inspire me right now, I've been drawn to kind of... intentionally cringe or earnest works? This has somehow resolved into romance (a genre I know next to nothing about) and goofy old horror (a genre I know too much about).

4: I have two projects in mind, one being a challenge to my nonexistent PDF design skills, and another being a challenge to my RPG design skills. I've had duet games on the brain recently, and I hope to transfer the vague old horror thoughts into a two-player RPG with a bit more of a set structure.

Glad to be here with y'all!

Hello!

  1. I'm Finnen
  2. This is my first time doing any game jam since college
  3. My inspirations have been all over the place, honestly I just really want to play Donkey Kong Bananza but I dont have a switch 2. That influence my one page game a lot.
  4. I challenged myself probably the most by making this oddly math heavy. Usually I am much more vibes based.
