About the game itself:
It was a really well polished experience! The visuals are absolutely amazing.
The gameplay is a fun challenge, and I loved the mechanics aswell! Credits to you for making this great game!
On the suggestions part, I don't have much! As you said, a menu screen is definitely great for this game.

Fun game. The controls feel sluggish at times and the checkpoint system sometimes breaks but it's good. I also noticed you made the game before the actual game jam so it isn't in line with the theme.
The game made me think of celeste! Sadly the game does not fit the theme. The game did have beautiful visuals, nice audio and very nice gameplay though!
