This was a fun Christmas horror game my dude! Very fun all around, I was not expecting it to be evil elves! Great immersion too and with lots of tasks and different ending, super cool! Nice music too and it was super fun exploring around until I saw that first elf haha. I enjoyed this and recommend completely! Here is my gameplay video, sub and help my channel grow everybody! :)
I'm geniuely one of you and your games' biggest fans. I can't even put it to words how much I love the characters, endings and the overall experiences you make. I truly hope that one day your work will get the same recognition as Chilla's Art or Rayll TwT I wish Egg Fried Rice had a fandom, I would be the most active person in it lol.
This game was a lot of fun, I loved the attention to detail in some stuff, like, why was I even wrapping my presents and why was I following a random guy to the woods lol.
I really loved this game! Extremely enjoyed how busy all the tasks kept me and giving me the freedom to choose and swap between them as I wished. Some great creepy moments and a surprising wholesome and christmassy ending after completing the other two endings. I loved the way it was organised so that repeat plays were still fresh and entertaining. A really brilliant job! I loved it as much as egg fried rice
Fantastic Festive Game - Really Enjoyed this one, A lot to do, different endings and an all round great experience, If you're looking for a long Christmas horror this is perfect!

There are currently no plans to expand this game, it is just a simple little festive concept that does all I wanted it to do! It is unlikely future titles will go down that route either tbh, I've no desire to monetise and find working on shorter projects more enjoyable! :)
This was incredible. I downloaded the game because I thought it would be a short horror game, where nothing really happens and then a screamer at the end.
But I am so glad to be proven wrong. This was so much fun, I had to get all endings and do all the possible things (I think I did everything at least xD)
The writing is lovely and the atmosphere is great. The little details like the reindeer moving around, the weather stations blinking, etc makes this feel so polished.
The time gimmick is also really well done, I like that you cannot do everything in one run and you have so little time to complete your tasks. Plus time only moving per task completed is nice.
I have not gotten to playing Egg Fried Rice yet, but this game makes me want to check that out as well.
3 Endings, a lot of tasks to complete, great writing, nice atmosphere. What else can I say, if you are reading this and you think about playing it for yourself, then stop reading and download this right now xD

The time each task takes was a nightmare to work out because I wanted to make it possible to get all three endings in 3 consecutive playthroughs with as little overlap as possible lol, I didn't want it move in realtime because it would only encourage players to rush and miss things!

Unfortunately I don't use social media or anything like that, this is very much a 'free time' gig and I'm not interested in monetising or promoting lol
But I do have projects that are in the works! I might post updates on one of those when it nears completion but I am meandering through development a lot more casually with no schedule compared to this game/Egg Fried Rice so it would be disingenuous to offer a time frame or to bring in contributors, though I greatly appreciate all offers and enthusiasm!!
I remember a comment from you before about game engines for your own potential project, did you ever make any headway on that? :)
If I were to be selfish, I'd say that's a shame, but I completely understand. Good to hear though that you're still active, and I can't wait to see what you come out with next! Take your time of course, but please do give me a shout if you're even a tiny bit interested in having a hand, with audio or anything else. I'd love to be a part of it, and I wouldn't ask for anything (unless it somehow went super viral and made you rich af)
Yup, I'm still working on a horror project, although in Unity this time (as another dev uses it full time so it's a bit faster for him to do stuff). We're definitely moving to Godot afterwards though! It's be a longer, horror/stalker game with Resi style puzzles, and life's gotten in the way a bit and slowed it down, but it'll be out on Steam and whatnot in the next few months. I'll give you a shout when it is!

I knew elves sucked! Had a blast with this one. Good spooks throughout, loved how the elves continually taunted you ( although I wished there was something of a response from your character).
Good way to drive multiple playthroughs with the endings. Loved the jokes throughout as well.

Hmm, you know I've been trying to find things that fit an Autumnal vibe without being specifically halloweeny so I actually don't hate that idea...
I could even see the possibility of a 'horror/cozy' toggle working in some of these 'complete-the-mundane-tasks' games.

Adored this one! Graphically gorgeous, fun tasks and the reindeer were just too cute. All endings were so unexpected and clever (and creepy!)

I think the atmosphere is awesome in this one I just wish the jump scare was a little bigger after the build up.
