Nice game! I really liked the old arcade-style inspiration and how it fits the “Spin to Win” theme. The presentation feels charming, and it’s impressive as a first game jam entry. Great work overall, and good luck with future projects!

Developer

Thank you so much! And good luck to you too! :)

Addictive! The cat is hilarious. Just needs a bit more visual/audio flair. Keep making games!

Submitted(+1)

Really cool bounce mechanics, and loved the cat! Awesome game! Though i felt like the music was a tad bit too much in my left ear, and that bothered me a bit, but the music button came in clutch

Developer(+1)

Thank you for checking it out! Was the music louder on the left side? I'm very new to this and haven't really messed with audio that much, so any extra info is much appreciated!

Submitted(+1)

I felt like it was louder on the left side, yes. You did really good with audio, this was the only thing that actually bothered me, the rest i really liked

Developer

Thanks for letting me know, It's little things like that that help me learn! I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)

Super fun, and anything with a sassy judgmental cat is an instant five stars for me. Reminded me of something off Kompendium (which I think you'd dig if you aren't already familiar!)

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks for playing! I do love my sassy cats. xD I'm definitely not familiar, but I'll check it out if I get the chance! :)

One of the most fun games EVER!

Developer

I'm glad you like it so much! Thank you!

super impressive for a first jam entry ever!! gameplay is simple but fun, and the game feel/juice is really great! movement could be a bit more momentum based but thats just a nitpick. nice job!

Submitted(+1)

Simple, fun, and very well thought out. Great job!

Pretty good for a first jam game!  I like the style and appreciate the retro sound design.  A bit confusing at first but got the hang of it.  I feel like movement could be made a bit more fluid, especially knockback after bouncing off stuff, but probably would have eaten up a lot of time.

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I definitely agree about the movement, I probably could've fixed that in time but I think I freaked myself out with doing the art and music because I've never really made any music before lol. I wanted to at least make it feel as cohesive as possible, but I feel like I kind of neglected the actual gameplay x,D There will be an update after the jam though!

Thanks for checking it out!

really fun!!!

Had a fun time playing! Very simple game but it feels very good to play.. Its got some juice.. Thats what we needed to add more of in our game... I could see with more enemies/obstacles this could be an entire game

Developer

I'm glad you had fun with it! I didn't really get to do everything I wanted to for it, but I hope to improve it after the jam is officially finished. Thanks for checking it out!

I like the visuals a lot!  The neon aesthetic is working well!  I was a bit confused if I was supposed to dodge the balls or try to pop them for more points.  I agree with the other comment that maybe changing boundary color to indicate danger might do well.  Nice music as well and audio.  Cool to include the music toggle that's a nice quality of life thing.  Cheers well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, I really appreciate that! I'll definitely be keeping that in mind as I work on it for future updates! :)

I had an enemy spawn on top of me and push me into the edge, ending my 700 score run :(
The boundaries could be another color to indicate danger. Maybe something like spikes for a strong visual effect?
Overall, it was quite addicting, I think it'd benefit from enemy variants (stronger/faster)!

Developer

Thanks for letting me know about the spawning thing, didn't think about that lol. I'll definitely be fixing that when the jam is over along with some other (hopefully) improvements! Thanks for taking the time to check it out! :)

Cool game but it's a bit too easy. Would recommend having the difficulty scale up much faster.

Really fun arcade style game!! I scored 662 on my first try! The Art music and gameplay all fit well together.

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

I like the trade-off of potentially hitting the edge by destroying/bouncing off enemies.
The mechanics are solid, and the cat is super cute <3
I like the way they wiggle up and down.

amazing game, i really liked the sound effects you did it really feels good and the loop is fun too

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you! That means a lot :)

Really nice game, I am a fun of the art style! But the core gameplay could be more complex

Developer(+1)

I definitely agree it needs some more to it. Thanks for checking it out!

Fun and satisfying gameplay! Nicejob! :D

Hey Feisty!

I love the cat in sunglasses giving the instructions.  I also must have been too distracted by it because I didn't read the tutorial and thought I had to DODGE the balls (like the classic Godot tutorial "dodge the Creeps").  I thought it was a neat game, I liked the retro arcade style.

Someone else pointed out you can pretty reliably just camp in the middle.  If you wanted to expand on this in the future you could add additional temporary walls/spikes or enemies that apply MUCH more force to the player.

Developer

Thank you for trying it out! I really want to expand on it in the future and make it as good as it can be, so any feedback helps a ton!
