Not bad BRO

They skybox is crazy good art. Loved it so much. I got a bit disoriented trying to navigate the level and accidentally fell off the edge of the map haha. My biggest feedback is to add some invisible walls to prevent that from happening or respawn the player if they fall off the map. I would love to give it another try, but I just had no clue what to do or where to go. Hope the feedback helps! Great work!

Thanks for the feedback. I thought that the green shader objects in the game would attract attention and thus lead to goals.

AHHHHH okay. I'll give it another try with that in mind.

Trippy and eerie atmosphere and slightly nostalgic with the style of graphics. As others have said, I found the gameplay itself a bit confusing as to how I use the memories etc. The tutorial could maybe have been made less cryptic or perhaps integrated into the gameplay.

Intriguing and unusual setting. Distinctive environment. I particularly like the grotesque face skybox. Cool massive enemy.

Suggestions for improvement:

- The indicator for Dark Memories is smaller and less visible than the indicator for Memories. It took me a while to realize there was a separate indicator. It should be equally prominent, and ideally in the same region of the screen.

- For games embedded in the browser, do not use Escape as the button that navigates to the menu. This makes it impossible to restore the game to fullscreen mode (because you have to press Escape to make the browser display fullscreen button, but then when you press Escape again to unpause the game, it throws you back into viewport mode).

Thank you for the informative comment! This is my first game where the ESC button is used. I'll know. Is it better to set it to TAB or F1?

Submitted(+1)

It's a tricky question, because Escape is standard in desktop games. Tab and F1 are often used for other OS/browser functions. I usually use P.

really got confused and bit lost, but is interesting :D

Thanks for the feedback. I'll watch your game later

No idea what was going on, pretty spooky atmosphere though - nice job.

Developer

Thanks for playing my game. I'll check yours now.

This is my first horror movie! DON'T judge me harshly.
P.s. I strongly recommend playing with headphones. Rustles, breathing, distant screams — all this comes to life around you.

NOT BAD for a first horror game
