If you have implemented the modifier, how have you done so?
You think it's a cozy shop sim, but it's really a frogger clone.

Any additional information for voters?
I had fun making this! I hope you enjoyed playing it at least a little bit!

Hip-Hop, I have to restock my shop. again and again and over again…

I'm debt-free!

Was very fun playing through. The genre fakeout was pretty neat!

I'd say it was probably a bit long for what it is. It ended up taking me like 45 mins in total which was mostly from a completionist sensibility. With that said though it was engaging enough for me to want to do that 😅

Very good work!

As expected, this was not what I had expected!

Without sprinting, it felt tedious to get a 3 packages every time. And there is no way I can gather enough money to save that shop, so i gave up half way. I also choose to jump in front of cars to teleport back with crates in my inventory.

Though in my opinion, idea is good

I expected some kind of shop game at first but it was more of a crossing the road simulator.  It took me 4 days to get to the other side once which really annoyed me at first. The first day to figure out that cars could kill me, the second day because I missed a car and on the third day I wanted to look around a bit and got fined for jaywalking.
Only getting three crates for this entire Journey was really frustrating.

Expanding on the shop side of this game could improve it a lot in my opinion. Getting more items to sell from the warehouse or maybe going there to place an order or something would be some ideas. Then you could spend more time in the shop stocking the shelves.

The walking animation is funny and the radio music was surprisingly not annoying and actually fun to listen to.

I love the concept, but it's so tedious in practice. It takes absolutely forever to get across the street, the movement speed is glacial and the difficulty is insane, and for all that you only get three crates worth of items. Taking the radio helps, but the first time I played it disappeared from the game, and the second time it didn't work consistently enough to keep me from being wiped out. It seems like you can only restock once per day, so I'm not sure the game is winnable even if you play perfectly.

The look, feel, and overall presentation is spot on for SBIG Jam, though. The sound effects deserve a special shoutout. And having a picker for jam/post-jam version is pretty cool.

Thanks for playing and for the feedback! You are right, the movement is beyond tedious, the difficulty shoots way up, and it feels more like a boring job than a game. The radio can indeed bug out.

The game is winnable (there are additional crates that can be…stolen), but I didn’t give enough direction to the player to help them find those crates. I need to make it more fun, which is where I failed here.

Thanks so much for playing!

The picker for jam/post-jam is actually made by badcop and is available here: https://badcop.games/jampack/

Cheers!
