I immediately clicked play and lost like the buffoon that I was for not reading the instructions. In my second attempt I fared much better and emerged victorious. I can see the potential, its just a sham there isn't more.

Fun game! Some sound effects and music would go a long ways.

Nice start to something. I had trouble seeing the health bars with the grass background, but that’s probably an easy fix. I think sound would add a lot to the prototype as well. Just add multiple battles and a simple story and you’ve got something

Nice! This could be be the start of a nice little tactics game. I wish there were more levels were I could keep spending to upgrade my army and fight bigger enemy armies. This was a great game jam game that gets right to the point and is easy to understand and play!
