Game description
Gameplay
4 tracks: Kick / Snare / Hat / Bass
4×16 step grid
Every edit (steps, volume, mute, tempo) builds pending score
SAVE button:
consumes 1 save (turn),
commits pending score into total Groove
Round goal:
Reach Groove ≥ Goal before you run out of saves.
When Saves = 0:
if Groove ≥ Goal → round clear, pick 1 of 2 plugins;
otherwise → run fails, you restart from the beginning.
Plugins
After a win you choose one plugin that changes the rules:
more or fewer saves;
stronger combo multiplier;
higher score goal;
different track scoring focus, etc.
The plugin affects all future rounds in this run.
Controls
PC / WebGL (mouse):
click cell → toggle step;
drag fader → change volume;
PLAY / SAVE / RESET / MUTE are regular UI buttons;
BPM / Steps fields editable via keyboard.
Phone / tablet (touch):
same layout with taps and swipes;
best played in landscape mode.
Theme interpretation
One of the thoughts that came to me when I learned about Waves is music. A wave in its purest form.
