"I've totally seen horror movies. Twilight counts." sold it for me.
I really enjoyed it! It was cool being able to interact with the scenes. The puzzles in the middle got me confused at first, but I managed to clear it after fiddling around with the buttons.
My favourite part was the court scene! Being able to actually select all of the clues and getting different dialogue options was hilarious. Mint with a moustache made me laugh XD
And the artwork is soooo good! Everyone was super cute and it's so high quality! A really fun game!
Thanks for the review! Yeah, I thought that puzzle might trip up some people so I trimmed it down to 3 buttons so people can easily just guess at it. It required paying attention to some of the posters/scribbles around the lab (power must be on, safety hinders innovation, etc) and the words beneath the buttons, which tells you which button is which (ie, safety, power, innovation). Those should give you the clues to the correct answers for the buttons. Hopefully that helps with understanding the puzzle haha! I'm glad to hear that you liked the ending. That was my favorite part to make!
Great submission. The art and writing is very charming. I'm suprised with the amount of endings you managed to implement. The main ending sure did exceed my expectation. It would be better if the bad endings bring me back to the previous choice, but I guess saving and loading does the same thing. If I am to nitpick, the combination lock can be made more responsive by adding a sound effect for each input. Either way, it's still a well executed game. Good job!
I wanted to add sound effects, but there wasn't enough time sadly. :( And as for the endings bringing you back to a previous choice, that is something I never thought of! I'll keep that in mind for future endeavours. Thank you so much for playing! :)
Art was so cute, love the style too. The ambiance! I liked poking around, solving puzzles is fun :) Good submission!
Loved the game! All the art was cute and the story was funny, liked the puzzle elements as well! Great Work
game was super smooth to play and the artwork is so fun and colourful!! loved the script as well and even doki's monologues felt super fun
the art and music is so good! reminds me old silent films with a live pianist playing in the theater. Also, "Dont Dead Open Inside"
