The game takes place in the sublevels of Area 51, where you've stolen a baby alien they have been keeping away from the public. Now, you have to maneuver around tons soldiers to escape. The main character is in a "strange place" and must escape.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The tileset and gun shot sound

This game appears to be solid, great work on the aesthetics and audio as well.

The enemies are really easy to kill once you know how to dodge their bullets and shoot them very quickly before they could fire a billion shots at you.

The wall jumps are functional and a nice option for the player to get a higher ground other than just jumping up.

This was really cool! The theme is done really well here! The idea of rescuing the baby alien child has me smiling. :)

However, I couldn't progress past the first level. Every time the level was generated it would be impossible to progress. Perhaps add a better generation system in the future?

Other than that, it was very enjoyable! The audio was well done, and I loved the art!

I can tell the map is procedurally generated, because half the time there is no way to progress and every time I die, the map changes. I would suggest if you are using procedural generation, to make sure you aren't generating broken maps. Other than that, the gameplay was kind of fun and despite no description on what the controls were, I was easily able to figure them out since you made good choices on what they should be (WASD, Space, and LMB are always solid choices for shooters).

Here's where I need to get a bit more critical (it's good for you, trust me) - 3 people is quite a bit of manpower to only come up with what you have here. There were no clear goals or story elements, dialogue, or reason to play at all. It felt like a prototype.

But, if it was your guys' first jam game, then great work!

Nice game. Very fun platformer. Love the music and the art. Easy to understand and play.

Nice entry. I like the music. Are levels procedurally generated? Or does the game select a random level?

Congrats to the team!

This game is hard! It's pretty fun though, and the music adds so much to the intensity of the game. The premise is fun, and the character art is funny with decent animation. I always love when shooter games have the gun move towards your cursor, it's so charming.
For the gameplay, the health is a bit confusing at times. The number above the character will seem like you have a lot of health, but you're really only one shot away from death. The percentage at the top helped, but it was a bit confusing overall. The enemies are hard, but I like that after a while of shooting you get a window to get them before they lock onto you again. I love the wall slide and wall jumps, it makes the gameplay much smoother.

Overall, great work on this!

the game is really fun. the enemies are a bit hard though if you don't kill them first try they lock on you and it becomes very hard to kills them.
