Maybe the real biscuit was the robot friend we made along the way.
This game was much better than i expected. Adventure games are not my favorite, and i was putting off reviewing this one, but it really exceeded my expectations.
except, having keyboard shortcuts for actions would've been nice, is it limitation of the engine?
It was very cute and nice short story, moon logic was kept to the minimum, and only had to use walkthrough twice, for transforming item the second time for it 3rd transformation (I was sure it could only cycle between 2 transformations. Because i used transform on bread, expecting it to become sandwich, but it cycled back to weird sand thing, so that was where i got this misconception) and to understand that you can take off robots hat by using pickup on his current hat (I just expected hats to swap automatically, and when it did not happen i thought that giving cook hat to robot was not correct. so i got stuck)
Overall this was awesome, hope you make more adventure games, you are good at them.
P.S. There is currently adventure game gamejam going, i think you should join.

I love an adventure game! I think you pulled it off very well too. While I appreciate the retro graphics I prefer a more updated visual aesthetic, and the audio becomes grating after a while. I thought you could have worked in the risk aspect of the theme a little better, but all told a good game. Congrats and good luck in the jam.

I liked this quest, but the visual clarity is not that great with text overlapping and actions not resetting, only thanks to comments I found out about the hat. In any case, great job!

Developer

thanks for the feedback! What did you mean with actions not resetting?

If I am to use look and then do another action I just walk, but the UI still highlights look. There also seem to be some functionality to set use automatically if I click any item. It doesn't seem to work in sync and sometimes confused me.

ok, thanks, now I understand, will keep that in mind for future games :)

Nice little story! In the end did he get he cookie?

Only nickpick i have is that when i click on an item it should pick it up instead of me using the option. great job nonetheless!

Developer

Good point, the interface is a bit too retro :) Will keep that in mind for my next adventure

A really fun game! It took me a while to figure out the robot functions based on the hat! Good work!

Very cool quest!

Really nice of you to create a point-and-click game. The guide was definitely a good idea. Well done!

I enjoyed a point-and-click adventure game, cute design and engaging. The puzzles were satisfying to solve. Overall, I had a positive experience with the game

Good game, I got stuck alot but the guide helped me

This game is quite cryptic at the start, really good idea of having a guide! After the initial confusion on what on earth was going on, I managed to beat the game without any more hints, and I enjoyed solving those puzzles! The story is chaos and it was quite entertaining. I also enjoyed the robot gimmick, good way of giving the player a hint without actually giving one on what to do. The art was also quite amusing, the ending scene looked especially neat. Nice work, really neat seeing a point and click game in this game jam!

Fun game! I kept getting stuck on the puzzles, and before I knew it, I’d spent way more time than I expected. The visuals and audio make the experience even better!

Its a pretty long game, especially when I haven't finished the game. I ended up getting stuck on the driver's hat area, but the idea of the robot getting so much usage through different hats is pretty neat.

I loved the retro vibe. You must have put a lot of work for those compressed audio effects! You nailed the retro point and click game aesthetic!

I really liked the soundtracks, specially the music at the beginning! Keep it up! I would appreciate it if you rated my game!

Really nice visual atmosphere. Sadly, I gave up after I found the first piece of bread. If a guide were released I would continue on.
