La stagione 1986 dei Seattle Seahawks è stata la 11ª della franchigia nella National Football League^[1]. La squadra concluse con un record di 10 vittorie e 6 sconfitte, al secondo posto nella AFC West, mancando tuttavia la qualificazione ai playoff nonostante il bilancio positivo. L’annata fu caratterizzata da un rendimento complessivamente solido ma discontinuo, con alcune vittorie significative alternate a sconfitte contro avversari diretti per la postseason. L’attacco continuò a fare affidamento sul quarterback Dave Krieg e sul gioco sulle corse, mentre la difesa si confermò aggressiva nella produzione di turnover.
