We are building a hub for developments in Physical AI, Generative 3D, and AI-driven commerce. A Flagship 3D Technology and Scanning Center that will also serve as the showcase for our Data Platform. And here is the motivation: Most existing 3D datasets are built from synthetic assets, low-fidelity reconstructions, or inconsistent metadata. Geometry is often noisy, materials are baked into textures, and assets are difficult to standardize across categories. At the same time, robotics, Physical AI, and Generative 3D systems increasingly depend on accurate, scalable 3D data. Use everywhere.   Together with NVIDIA and NVIDIA for Startups, we are empowering Zalando to build a new generation of fashion content powered by high-fidelity digital twins and designed for the future of e-commerce.   This is no longer experimental technology.   It’s already operating AT SCALE.   Using our AI-powered photometric 3D scanning platform, Zalando can move products from scan to storefront in as little as 48 hours while improving engagement, reducing returns, and dramatically lowering production costs.   Each product is scanned in a controlled multi-view environment designed to capture geometry, materials, textures, and color with extreme precision. A typical footwear scan takes around seven minutes.   From that single scan, Zalando can generate: → Interactive 3D product views → AR and virtual try-on experiences → Campaign and lifestyle imagery → Product videos and spins → Localized marketing assets → Classic e-commerce packshots   All powered by the same digital twin.   This fundamentally changes how content is created.   Instead of producing separate assets for every team, format, or channel, one high-fidelity 3D asset becomes the foundation for everything downstream.   Powered by NVIDIA Cosmos, Gen-3C, DiffusionRenderer, RTX 6000 Ada Generation, and RTX PRO Blackwell GPUs, this workflow is already scaling rapidly: → 10,000 footwear SKUs in 3D during 2025 → 45,000 SKUs targeted for 2026 → Up to 92.1% reduction in scan production costs → 99.4% faster scanning workflows → 10x improvement in geometry and texture accuracy → 3–4% increase in add-to-cart rates   But beyond the numbers, what matters most is what this unlocks.   A shared 3D asset foundation allows teams to move faster, maintain visual consistency across markets, and create richer customer experiences without increasing operational complexity.   We believe digital twins will become the infrastructure layer behind the future of e-commerce.   Not only for product pages, but for AI-generated photography, automated campaign creation, immersive AR and VR experiences, and entirely new retail workflows that are only beginning to emerge.   The future of e-commerce will not be built around static imagery.   It will be built around intelligent, reusable, photorealistic 3D assets.   And we’re proud to help build that future.   Read the full story here ➡️ https://lnkd.in/d_JGwXc5 #NVIDIAInception #3Dscanning #DigitalTwins #3Ddatafactory
