Yes it's me, your customer. You know. You are not a bank. I am not worried that someone is going to get on my computer while I'm in the kitchen frying an egg, and order me fifty of those ugly teal shirts you have on clearance because nobody wants them. So if I'm too busy smexing with my fanfiction characters for half an hour to come back to what I was looking at on your site... it's really NOT necessary for you to log me off, so that when I click on the image of a shirt I think I MIGHT want, I am forced to log back in and find the page I was on before you logged me out.
