All right, my thoughts on yaoi: The only place it would have felt right to include it in the books was in book seven, and she all but said it there anyway. I suppose she could, technically, have been clearer. Something like "Oh Severus, still?" "Always. Have you got over Grindelwald yet, sir?" But that would have detracted from the emotional impact of Snape's love for Lily.
