FUCK COPORATE ROCK
WOW just got home from the HED show. OMG WHAT A FUCKING GREAT SHOW. ok so it was easy to find the place which rocked. so lets give a rundown of the show.
me and walnut get there and when the let everyone in we head stright for the front. so we are positioned front center which is awesome. there were 6 bands who played tonite. for the most part they were good with a few exceptions so lets give you a description.
so the first band comes out. their name is No Clear Fix. remember that name everyone cuz THEY SUCKED ASS so if anyone offers you a show with them dont go unless there will be other bnds who are good playing. like seriously they were prolly the second worst band i saw compared to seeing The Music back in november. come to think of it i dont know which band was worse. ok so their lead singer was dressed like prince. yes the short black guy that sings when doves cry. and on top of that they had a keyboardist. now granted it works with some bands but it definetly didnt for this band. also the lead singer was singing all girly and stuff then out of nowhere he just starts doing the deep voice growling type singing. it just totally didnt work and when they said they were doing their last song everyone cheered.
next was Trudge.
Remember their name too everyone cuz THIS BAND ROCKED. TRUDGE IS GOOD STUFF. so yea i'm pretty sure their a local band but i havent done the reserch yet so i'll get back to you on that but this is when the show started for me i say. to me this was the first band playing for the nite. all their songs were good and i dug them. dug them so much i bought both their cd's when we left. they were $3 each and all together is 10 songs. they gave a good energetic preformance and i am looking forward to seeing them again. TRUDGE ROCKS
next was Index Case
Index Case is good. not the greatest but defintly one of the better bands out there. their guitar riffs rocked like a motherfucker and their stage presence was definetly worthy. i do have to say tho i dont give them props for their guitarist being twinzys wearing the exact same getup as each other but other than that there is nothing bad to report about with Index Case.
next was Gizmachi
they were ok i didnt really dig them too much and their drummer seemed like he wasnt too happy about the set up of his drums or something but i dont know. their songs were ok but nothing spectacular to say about them.
next was Dry Kill Logic
I'm sure some of you have heard of Dry Kill by now. they been around for a little while now and have been on the raido. another good band. i dug them. their stage presence was great they had energy and all in all were definetly good stuff. i recommend
and last but certainly not fucking least HED motherfucking PE
Ok so the lights go out and they come up on stage. Mawk on the left, jaxon on the right, jahred in the middle with moke on drums in the back and product on the tables. the music kicks in and they start with a new song REPRESENT. the crowd goes wild. at the end of the sog jahred thros the mic down points to the crowd(in mine and walnuts direction to be exact) and he stage dives right onto us. so we get him back onstage and the show continues. at one point jahred looked down at me and gave me the head nod. it was a moment and it was great. Song after song HED is putting on the greatest performance i've seen. so much energy so much talent. jahred is definetly one of the greatest frontman ever. every now and thenn in the songs he mixes in a little old skool hiphop rhymes, and even crip walks on the stage. meanwhile product is going crazy on stage running in circles and making flames from a lighter and spray cans. of course in the crowd there were some idiots screaming out song titles and Serpent boy was one as usual. there is always a call for serpent boy. so they did like 8 songs about and mixed some old with new. The new cd is great. i definetly like the new lineup. it definetly is tighter and definetly works. jahred dropped some knowledge betweeb songs and joked around too. after the show said sup to jahred and got an autograph. it was great he came over and we said sup and he was like yea man i saw you down there i knew there was gonna have to be at least one brotha out there reppin.
ok so to sum up. never go see No Clear Fix cuz they suck extreme ass, Definetly check out Trudge cuz they rocked, keep supporting Dry Kill Logic, check out Index Case they got really good guitar riffs, Gizmachi is ok, and HED ROCKS.
oh yea and in honor of hed coming back i started a new REAL hed community for all the fans out there. theres been other hed communities but their all crap. its time for the real hed, time for the truth. just look up hedperocks and thats the new community. if your down with real music and tired of the coporate radio crap join the community. thats all for updates for now. i gotta sleep.
