wisecrack

1. noun A glib, facetious, or sardonic remark. I'd had enough of that smart aleck's wisecracks, so I left the party early. If you keep making wisecracks in class, you're going to get in trouble.
2. verb To make such a remark. If you don't stop wisecracking this instant, I'm going to give you detention!
