1. slang A liquor store. Pronounced as one word ("lick") or individual letters ("L I Q"). Often the first or all letters are capitalized. We're heading down to the Liq to get some beers for the party—want to come? That's the third time this year he's been kicked out of the LIQ with a fake ID.
2. slang Alcohol, especially hard liquor. Hey man, think you could hook me up with some liq? I'll pay you extra for it. I want to get some liq and get trashed tonight.
