The state of being an incel (a contraction of the phrase "involuntarily celibate"), a label self-applied by members of an online subculture of men (mostly young, white, and heterosexual) who claim to be unable to find or attract women as romantic or sexual partners and blame it on women or other men (especially those who are sexually active). The subculture is often typified by expressions of self-pity, entitlement, and misogyny, as well sometimes promoting or condoning violence toward others. Members of the subculture lament their so-called inceldom, laying the blame on women for somehow being the cause of their plight. My inceldom is only a thing because the girls in my class are so haughty and stuck-up! They act like they're too good for me—morons. That forum is just a bunch of fools bemoaning their inceldom because girls keep choosing handsome, popular "Chads" over them.
