During the decade of 2000–2009 (known colloquially as "the aughts"). I was born and raised in the aughts, so the Internet has been a constant part of my life. Just as the styles of the '80s was distinct from the '90s, fashion in the aughts had its own cultural aesthetic that felt totally unique compared to what came before or after. I went to high school in the aughts and didn't have a cell phone the entire time. It was pretty great!
