The International Diabetes Federation is closely monitoring developments in the Middle East following the recent escalation of tensions in the region. Our thoughts are with all those affected by the current crisis. We are in close contact with local partners and authorities to assess the situation and its potential impact on the organisation of our Congress in Doha in April 2027. The safety and well-being of all participants, members, partners, stakeholders and people living with diabetes remains our primary concern. We will provide further updates as the situation evolves.
