Peter Safran
Peter Safran (lahir 22 November 1965) adalah seorang produser film dan manajer Inggris-Amerika.[1] Saat ini ia menjabat sebagai co-chairman dan CEO DC Studios bersama dengan James Gunn.

Kehidupan awal
suntingSetelah tumbuh besar di Inggris, Safran lulus dari Universitas Princeton. Ia meraih gelar J.D. di Fakultas Hukum Universitas New York.[2] Ia bekerja sebagai pengacara di New York City, sebelum menjadi asisten di UTA.[3]
Karier
suntingDia menjadi manajer di Gold-Miller Co dan bertahan di sana hingga tahun 1998.[4] Dia kemudian menjadi manajer di Brillstein-Grey selama lima tahun, sebelum ia diangkat sebagai presiden Brillstein-Grey Management pada tahun 2003. Sebagai presiden, ia bertanggung jawab atas kegiatan sehari-hari departemen tersebut, yang memiliki lebih dari 200 klien, termasuk Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Adam Sandler, Nicolas Cage, dan Courteney Cox.[5] Beliau meninggalkan Brillstein-Grey pada tahun 2006, untuk meluncurkan The Safran Company, dan membawa seluruh daftar kliennya.[6] Sebagai manajer, ia mewakili Sean Combs, Adam Shankman, David Hyde Pierce, Jennifer Lopez, dan Brooke Shields.[7]
Selama beberapa tahun terakhir, Safran telah mampu mengembangkan The Conjuring Universe[8] dan memproduksi film seperti Aquaman, Shazam!, The Suicide Squad, Shazam! Pada bulan Oktober 2022, Safran dan James Gunn diangkat sebagai co-chair dan co-CEO DC Studios, yang mengawasi proyek-proyek film, televisi, dan animasi. Sementara Gunn akan menangani aspek kreatif, Safran akan menangani sisi bisnis divisi tersebut. Keduanya mulai menjabat pada tanggal 1 November 2022.[10][11][12][13]
