Justin Kirk

Justin Kirk (lahir 28 Mei 1969[1]) adalah seorang aktor asal Amerika Serikat. Ia terkenal karena perannya sebagai Prior Walter dalam miniseri HBO, Angels in America (2003), yang membuatnya menerima nominasi Primetime Emmy Award untuk Aktor Pendukung Luar Biasa dalam Miniseri atau Film, dan sebagai Andy Botwin dalam serial komedi gelap Showtime, Weeds (2005–2012).

Kehidupan awal
suntingKirk lahir di Salem, Oregon.[1][2][3] Ibunya adalah keturunan Rusia-Yahudi dan ayahnya adalah keturunan Denmark dan Inggris.[4] Kirk tumbuh di Union, Washington,[1] di mana ia bersekolah di sekolah dasar di reservasi penduduk asli Amerika, sampai keluarganya pindah ke Minneapolis, Minnesota, ketika ia berusia 12 tahun. Ia bersekolah di sekolah menengah di sana dan tampil di Children's Theatre Company.[5][6]
Kirk pindah ke New York City setelah lulus. Dia bermain gitar di beberapa band New York pada awal 1990-an, terutama The Dimestore Darlings.[7] Dia menyelesaikan program akting konservatori dua tahun di Circle in the Square Theatre School.[4][8]
