Musings from a mudane life

There are two things that run in my family. Sarcasism and stupidity.

Because neither of my parents are very bright, one would think that their two children would actually have some brains; this assumption was based on the mathematics rule that [negative+negative= positive].

That was wishful thinking. The first signs that this theory was wrong was when my sister commited her 'Three Acts of Stupidity' (and still accumulating):

1. Locking up her HKiD card in her suitcase when she needed it to get past immigration at the airport...
2. Stole toilet paper from a London University dorm (from the male toilets) and DHL-ed it back to HK...as a gift for my parents...
3. Had the dorm security guards enter her room and spend 10 mins waking her up- apparently she forgot to return a bunch phone calls (which lead to several people informing the guards that they feared she was dead). She was actually just taking a very intensive nap and couldn't hear her radio+moblie+dorm phone.

I didn't think much about it, but just the other day I got myself lost in the toilet because my brain couldn't even locate where the door was. Took me a while to register which direction I was facing.

I am getting worried.
