[mod] Rules & Posting Guidelines

got7fic, the community dedicated to fanfiction and other fanworks for JYP's hip hop boy group, GOT7! Please abide by the following rules when sharing your work and remember to respect your fellow fans.✯ To be able to post, you must be a member of got7fic. Membership is open and unmoderated - just click "Join this community" at the top of the page!
✯ All posted fanfiction and other fanworks must be related to the members of Got7. Someone in Got7 must be at least one of the main characters, though crossovers are allowed. Any bashing on the group or members of Got7 will not be tolerated.
(Edit: Het pairings are fine, as long as both people are established in the industry, ie. idols, actresses, models, etc. For instance, Jackson/Amber would be fine; you'd just need to request tags for the pairing name and crossover.)
✯ Please use the appropriate tags for your post. For instance, a writer submitting a fic would need to use * fanfiction as well as the pairing and rating tags. Member tags, which begin with "m:", are for member-centric fic: do not tag both members of a pairing. Crossover fics are tagged * crossover and w: (the other group, such as 5live); if you would like to post a fic that crosses over with a group unlisted in the tags, please PM the mod and it will be added.

✯ If posting your fic directly togot7fic, make sure to use a lj-cut. If linking to your own fic community, please do not link to a locked post, and make sure your link works. All fics rated R or NC-17 must be locked to the got7fic community; otherwise, your post will be deleted.
✯ Please refrain from changing the font, size, color, etc. within your post, as it may cause clutter and be difficult to view on different softwares and screens. You are limited to one post per day to avoid spam, but feel free to link multiple fics in your single post.
✯ Do not flame or bash others or Got7 under any circumstances. Plagiarism will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate banning of the plagiarist from the community, even if they have never received a strike before.
✯ If you wish to post an advertisement to the comm, please PM the mod. You may post the ad only after you have received written permission.
✯ Similarly, if you wish to affiliate withgot7fic, please PM the mod.
