Unable to switch to Native Resolution

Hello all!

This is my first time ever posting anything like this so I will try to include as much info as I can, if I'm missing anything please let me know.
I am on an M5 Max MacBook Pro on Tahoe 26.5.

I have 2 monitors connected via usbc - HDMI. They are both 1440p. I am a tad bit lost. I tried doing what a few tutorials said with no luck.
Please let me know where to even start troubleshooting or if there are any tips.

Hmm. These displays or the connection seem to be clearly broken - they don't seem to provide proper EDID data (name missing, no sensible resolutions etc). What kind of displays are these and what connection options are available? What cables are you using?

One is an AOC 240 hz 1440p the other is an ACER 60hz 1440p. They are connected via thunderbolt to HDMI. I can also try Thunderbolt to DP but I would rather not as I also have my Gaming PC Connected to the monitors.

Yes, try DP first. USB-C to HDMI cables are notoriously problematic as they never carry native signals and contain complicated electronics (the Mac outputs DisplayPort alt mode using USB-C). If you use the same kind of cable for both monitors and both fail the same way, it's likely the cable.

Got it. Will try right now, is there any other ways to get this to work besides DP? Perhaps a higher quality USB-C to HDMI or something of that nature?

Works perfectly fine with the DP cable. Thank you for the help! Please let me know if the DP is bypassable though!
