We’re allowed to train ANCs now, thanks to the First Amendment
In January 2023, GGWash was all set to hold trainings for Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners on the issues they might face and how to navigate DC’s bureaucracies. But the DC Board of Ethics and Accountability told Commissioners the trainings constituted “illegal gifts”.
