We got an extension on the project!! *sniff* I'm so happy. We have until the 19th to get our act together and actually present something that's not trash. We tried going out yesterday and getting the coordinates of the area we were using for the field work part but none of us have ever even touched a GIS unit much less used one so we were utterly clueless how to work it. The other two members tried it again today with an older model but couldn't even get it to connect. We're all technology ignorant.
The leader of our group liked the slides I did though and thought they were really good. Go me!
Other things I did today:
- Went to the doctor for my exam. I went yesterday but I hadn't bled at all so she set me home and told me to come back if I bled again. Of course late that night I saw blood and again this morning. We did the exam and she told me that I was only spotting and that it was nothing overly drastic and was more an irritation to myself than anything else. She put me on birth control for the next two months, recommended I go see a gynecologist, and had my pap-smear results from December sent to her to look at. She believes that the bleeding is from stress or change in diet or something along those lines rather than an actual condition. She did say I should get checked for STDs next time I get a pap-smear done though =x (Although she admitted it's highly unlikely I have any since I've been with the same person for over a year and hadn't had anything when I got checked 3 years ago.)
- Went to the bank and pulled out some rent money. I'm not broke broke but I'm no where near the amount of money I wanted to have this close to school with my scholarship hanging there.
- Cleaned out the front seat of my car (my car is so godawful messy even I find myself wanting to apologize to myself when I get in it) and found the missing check from way back when $^$&$%YERGER%^$&$^
- I got pulled over on the way to the doctor's office for going 45 in a 35. I had thought the speed limit was 40. The cop just asked if I had had any tickets and I admitted that I had gotten one about a year and a half ago. He said "okay, that's good" real dismissevely and gave me a warning then let me go. He was actually a really cool cop.
- Boyfriend called me yesterday and apologized for the way he acted the other night. He said he went home and felt like such a girl for getting all pissy. My roommate, upon hearing of the event, informed me we have the weirdest relationship because I act like the guy and he acts like a girl and that I should have a penis. I ♥ you Marlana.
I managed to get some writing done for the first time in weeks yesterday. CB chapter 40 is looking good. It amazes me that there's only like 3-4 more chapters left and then it will be done finally. I've been planning the ending for so long it stuns me that its here at last.
I'm addicted to AV now on WoW. Instead of getting to 70 I just want to run through there all the time. I'm 69 now though!
