I followed indybaggins's advice and watched Tin Man the other day. I liked it, but not enough to get fannishly invested in it. O squeed like crazy every time Callum Keith Rennie was on the screen though. My hearing will never be the same again. :D

FINALLY, all my presents are bought. Not wrapped, but I'll deal with that tomorrow. Somehow I ended up buying books for everyone but mom, who'll be getting a few Body Shop products for her feet. I didn't mean to go the evil-teacher-to-be route, it just happened. The brothers both wanted the books I've bought for them and as for dad and his SO, well, they might not *want* books about how to quit smoking (and a copy of Thank You For Smoking and a pack of chocolate cigarettes just to keep with the theme), but they sure as hell need them. Dad is one step away from becoming a chain smoker and his last medical exam showed that his lungs are starting to protest... I'll gladly be a grinch this year if that's what it takes for him to start using his brain. His SO isn't quite as hooked on nicotine as he is, but considering that she suffers from asthma, it's really in her best interest to lay off the cigarettes. And hey, it's not like I've ever managed to find them a present they have liked in the past anyway.
