Oro?

It was rumoured a while back, but now it's confirmed. Rurouni Kenshin is getting a live action film (possible franchise?) starring Sato Takeru as Kenshin.

The post on Arama mentioned that the manga author and his wife thought that Sato would be best suited for the role, which I thought was cool. I also heard a while back that he flat out refused an approach by Hollywood to make a live action version, which is awesome. Just the fact that Hollywood isn't making it is already a plus for me. XD I can see Sato doing very well. From what I've seen of him, he's one of those actors that naturally fits into a role rather than playing a part. If that makes any sense. XD

I hope that "International Release" doesn't just mean the US and parts of Europe. I wanna see it too!! I also hope that it's good and does really well, so that we can get to the film that has this guy in it. :D



Although, he's so awesome I don't know who could play him in a live action. Because of his size and his presence. His voice actor (who also plays Shanks and Char Aznable) is so cool, it'd be hard for another actor to translate that.

I also can't see anyone but Shirota Yuu playing Sanosuke. XD
