Oh, this was such a fun game! The humor was fantastic, and the whole experience felt really immersive and entertaining. I think I got pretty close to solving it, but I ran out of time. I released the second cat from the hidden passage, but after that I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do next. I couldn’t get in there myself, so I started trying to get a second cup of water to try and reopen it, when the timer went off and I got fired for being a terrible cultist :( Perfect fit for the theme! Amazing job!

Your illustrations are fantastic! I loved learning about the world and making choices along the way. This made the experience a lot more immersive and interactive! Amazing job! You are a really good writer!

The art was gorgeous, and the content was so interesting to read! I had never tried this type of puzzle before, but the instructions and examples made it easy to understand and get into. It was so satisfying crossing off the impossible answers and slowly filling out the board as everything started coming together.

I think I solved most of it correctly, though I couldn’t quite reach 100%. A hint system and maybe a final reveal/solution screen would make the experience even more satisfying and rewarding. But honestly, I loved it. You did an amazing job!

Thank you so much, these were super helpful! Absolutely fantastic game and a wonderful story!

Beautiful illustrations and a very engaging story! I am dying to know what happens at the end but I am stuck on getting two of the samples - clay and silt. Can I get a tiny hint, please? :)))

Mr. Mittens is my favorite murder suspect ever 😂 I loved the sense of humor in this game so much! Exploring the room and clicking through everything was super satisfying. I couldn’t figure out how to open the safe or the phone though, and now I’m dying to know what’s inside 😭 Could I maybe get a tiny hint? I did it!!! I just discovered that I had to press the space bar for extra information on the clues. Can't wait to figure out what happened!

This was exceptionally well executed! The visuals were gorgeous, and the clues kept me intrigued the whole time. I really enjoyed exploring the island, searching for clues, and figuring out how they connected to different characters or fit together. I ended up dying quite a lot because I kept running out of time, which actually fit the theme really well! I appreciated that some of the progress was saved after dying, though I do wish the inventory carried over after reincarnating too. Overall, this is such a fun experience, and I’m now going back to try to solve it again (I feel I am so close!!)!

This game got me completely hooked! I love the concept, it fits the theme perfectly and is super addictive. I still haven’t figured out who the culprit is, but I’m not giving up. I’m really invested now and I need to know what happened 😄

The puzzles were clever, and the twist genuinely caught me off guard. I really enjoyed it!

This was such a great game! The gameplay is really satisfying, and the story is immersive and chilling. I especially enjoyed digging through the yearbook and uncovering the contrast between the “perfect” surface and the darker truth underneath. You can really feel how much effort and passion went into this. Amazing job!

This felt really fresh and satisfying to play! The rhythm lined up perfectly with the gameplay, and the graphics were beautiful. I thoroughly enjoyed the puzzle aspect. It really made me think!

The most badass vending machine I’ve ever seen! Such a fun concept, really engaging to play. I couldn’t beat the washing machine though :(

What a cool set of mechanics! The claw felt so satisfying to control. While waiting for the next set of balls to drop, I couldn’t stop moving it to the beat of the music. Very addictive and intuitive game!

Hehe, this definitely made me sweat! Super fast-paced but really enjoyable. Had a lot of fun playing. Thanks for making this!

Hahaha, this was so much fun! I loved the variety of defense options, the humor, and all the different enemy types. The art was super cute and absolutely hilarious at the same time.

That was intense! Even without sound, my heart was racing, trying to evade the enemy units. It took me a minute to figure out how to steal souls, but once it clicked, it felt super intuitive! Had a lot of fun!

Thank you so much for the kind words! Really happy you enjoyed the gameplay and the retro feel. Each clue contains a key to the puzzle, but we also included details that are just part of the fictional world (or even serve a bit as a red herring) to make the investigation feel more realistic. Really appreciate your thoughtful feedback and the time you spent playing!

The gameplay was really fun and intuitive. And it fits the theme so well. It would be interesting to try it with more enemy and weapon types.

Such a cool optical effect. Thanks for introducing it to us! I had a really fun time playing

Super addictive! Loved the art style, and the animal comments were hilarious 😂 The management side was really well done. So much to discover and try out!

The intro was fantastic, especially the glitching effects! Never thought I’d be rooting for a computer virus 😂 Poor little dude, all he wanted was to infect a computer.

Really enjoyable and immersive! The graphics and music were spot on!

Such a cute character and very fun concept!

Loved it!! Beautiful graphics, great humor, and such a fun, original way to teach coding!

Great game! I really appreciated the variety of management features and the worldbuilding. The news at the bottom made the experience feel really immersive.

This was such a fun game! I really enjoyed solving the puzzles and trying to beat my own high score. It would be cool to see how I compare to other players, maybe through a leaderboard.

The animations are gorgeous! It was a lot of fun to play, and the jumping physics felt really satisfying.

I really enjoyed walking around and figuring out what happened. Loved the story!

I’ve never had this much fun losing over and over:D Absolutely loved it!

Hi! I have a quick clarification question. I want to develop an original game that fits the topic of this jam as well as the topic of another active jam (Mystery Games Jam). Is it allowed to submit the same game to both, provided it is a new project and follows each jam’s rules? I want to make sure I’m following the guidelines correctly. Thanks in advance!

Hi! I have a quick clarification question. I’ve started working on an original game for this jam, and I just noticed it also fits the topic of another active jam (Gamedev.js 2026). Would it be allowed to submit the same game to both, as long as it meets all rules and is developed within the timeframe? Just want to make sure I’m following the guidelines correctly. Thanks in advance!
