Oh, this was such a fun game! The humor was fantastic, and the whole experience felt really immersive and entertaining. I think I got pretty close to solving it, but I ran out of time. I released the second cat from the hidden passage, but after that I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to do next. I couldn’t get in there myself, so I started trying to get a second cup of water to try and reopen it, when the timer went off and I got fired for being a terrible cultist :( Perfect fit for the theme! Amazing job!

The art was gorgeous, and the content was so interesting to read! I had never tried this type of puzzle before, but the instructions and examples made it easy to understand and get into. It was so satisfying crossing off the impossible answers and slowly filling out the board as everything started coming together.
I think I solved most of it correctly, though I couldn’t quite reach 100%. A hint system and maybe a final reveal/solution screen would make the experience even more satisfying and rewarding. But honestly, I loved it. You did an amazing job!
Mr. Mittens is my favorite murder suspect ever 😂 I loved the sense of humor in this game so much! Exploring the room and clicking through everything was super satisfying. I couldn’t figure out how to open the safe or the phone though, and now I’m dying to know what’s inside 😭 Could I maybe get a tiny hint? I did it!!! I just discovered that I had to press the space bar for extra information on the clues. Can't wait to figure out what happened!
This was exceptionally well executed! The visuals were gorgeous, and the clues kept me intrigued the whole time. I really enjoyed exploring the island, searching for clues, and figuring out how they connected to different characters or fit together. I ended up dying quite a lot because I kept running out of time, which actually fit the theme really well! I appreciated that some of the progress was saved after dying, though I do wish the inventory carried over after reincarnating too. Overall, this is such a fun experience, and I’m now going back to try to solve it again (I feel I am so close!!)!
This was such a great game! The gameplay is really satisfying, and the story is immersive and chilling. I especially enjoyed digging through the yearbook and uncovering the contrast between the “perfect” surface and the darker truth underneath. You can really feel how much effort and passion went into this. Amazing job!
Thank you so much for the kind words! Really happy you enjoyed the gameplay and the retro feel. Each clue contains a key to the puzzle, but we also included details that are just part of the fictional world (or even serve a bit as a red herring) to make the investigation feel more realistic. Really appreciate your thoughtful feedback and the time you spent playing!
Hi! I have a quick clarification question. I want to develop an original game that fits the topic of this jam as well as the topic of another active jam (Mystery Games Jam). Is it allowed to submit the same game to both, provided it is a new project and follows each jam’s rules? I want to make sure I’m following the guidelines correctly. Thanks in advance!
Hi! I have a quick clarification question. I’ve started working on an original game for this jam, and I just noticed it also fits the topic of another active jam (Gamedev.js 2026). Would it be allowed to submit the same game to both, as long as it meets all rules and is developed within the timeframe? Just want to make sure I’m following the guidelines correctly. Thanks in advance!
