Rods (also known as Sticks) are a crafting material, originally added by GregTech. Immersive Engineering and Modern Industrialization also add rods to the game.

There are two rods in vanilla Minecraft: the
Stick and the
Blaze Rod.

Metal rods are craftable in an ordinary grid. The recipe can be automated using a Metal Press affixed with a Rod mold.

Rods can be made in the Cutting Machine with Lubricant, yielding two rods per ingot. Bronze, Copper, Gold, Iron, Steel and Tin Rods can also be made with the Forge Hammer with the ratio of 2:1 with a Forge Hammer (ratio of 1:1 without the Hammer).

Cutting Machine

This recipe could be done in any type of Cutting Machine. For Bronze and Steam tiers machine, you could power it by using Steam (1 mB = 1 EU)
