This is a forum hosting discussions on all forms of sports board games. Baseball, Football, Hockey, Basketball, Boxing, etc are all valid topics, as are a variety of games covering fictional or fantasy sports.  

We do have a couple rules here (well more than a couple, but they're pretty easy to comprehend).  For the most enjoyment here on TTS, please read the following guidelines and apply them to your posts;

1.  Spirited discussion is welcome but personal attacks are not.  You don't have to agree with another poster, but if you're going to post dissenting opinion be prepared to attack the argument not the person.  Any member or visitor participating in personal attacks will be warned once.  A second incident will result in a ban.  You have been warned!

2. Do not thread crap.  Thread crapping occurs when a person comes into a thread and posts something contrary to the spirit or intent of the original post, often derailing the discussion or turning into an argument.  An example might be when a member posts, "Results from my replay using Game X", and another replies, "Game X is inaccurate and over priced, you should use Game Y instead".  In this case, the original poster did not ask for comparisons between Game X and Game Y, so the response was inappropriate.  

3. Please do not make posts consisting solely of hyperlinks or redirects to other sites.  All posts pointing to other sites should describe the contents and location of the material so that other members can more easily determine potential benefits and/or risks they face should they choose to follow link.

4. Currently this forum has a Host (myself), and no additional Moderators.  If I do appoint additional moderators to assist on the forum, then a public announcement will be made by the Host introducing them to the forum.

5. If you have not been designated an official Moderator on TTS, please do not attempt to moderate others members here on TTS.  If you believe there is an issue, please PM me directly or use the Report Post feature here on Delphi to notify me of the issue and I will investigate. Please note that I do not investigate other forums or social media sites.  I strictly deal with issues posted directly on the Table Top Sports forum.  If you are having trouble on another forum or site, please reach out to that site's moderation staff for assistance.  If you problems with a member sending inappropriate PMs, or harrassing you on Delphi, please utililize the IGNORE and REPORT AS INAPPROPRIATE features on DELPHI.  Don't know how to use them?  Please PM me and I will assist.

6. Official moderator posts will be displayed in RED.  While you can use the color red in your posts, please refrain from making posts in ALL RED to avoid any confusion with official posts from your Host or Moderators.  Posts from me that are NOT all red are intended to be part of the normal conversation and should not be taken as moderation.

7. Attempting to impersonate a Host/Moderator is an instant ban.

8. If a RED posts asks you to stop participation in a thread, or to stop a certain train of conversation, please do so immediately.  Failure to do so will result in moderation. 

9. All new members start on moderation (IE posts must be approved prior to being visible on the forum).  That probationary time period is variable and is based on approved posts, but is generally long enough to verify that the new member is not a spammer, sock puppet, or robot.  It's nothing personal, just something that's become necessary in recent years to ensure members have a pleasant experience here on TTS.

10. I will often enforce temporary moderation, close threads, or (rarely) edit/delete posts as a means to quell a discussion that's in violation of the terms I've set out here on the start page.  I may also send PRIVATE MESSAGES to the offending parties explaining why I've taken that action.  I will not discuss those interactions with anybody other than the recipient , so please do not message me with questions or derogatory statements concerning such actions taken towards other users.  

Please know that my only concern is making TTS a pleasant place to visit, and I have no agenda to single out any individual or group of individuals on the forum. 

11. Piracy is not authorized.  While I understand that there is some gray area when it comes to older games, release to public domain, and copyright laws in various countries, trying to sell reproductions of products or reselling/gifting of PDF products (including printed copies of PDF products) from actively trading game companies is strictly prohibited.  The same goes for out of print games that have not been clearly added to the public domain.  If you have a question or concern about an item for sale in our marketplace please contact the host so that I may make a proper assesment.  Do not police the issue yourself.

12.  Post using ONE account only.  If you post on the forum under more than one account name you should expect a lengthy moderation period while I gather the pertinent information.  If I determine that multiple accounts were used to harass,  bully, or intimidate another user, or to create a false narrative in a discussion thread, then a permanent ban will be enforced.
