Apple has made a full snapshot of your 2025 reading habits with the Apple Books Year in Review. Here's how to see and share it.

A look back at your 2025 reading with Apple Books

It's December, and all your favorite apps are giving you a breakdown of all your yearly statistics. Apple Music does this every year, but for the past few years, Apple Books has joined in on the fun.

If you use Apple Books to read all your favorite digital prose, your 2025 Year in Review is now ready to explore. It's a fun little snapshot of everything you've spent the past twelve months reading.

Finding your Year in Review is pretty easy, too. Just launch the Books app and head to the Home tab -- it'll be front and center.

The overview gives you insights into the books you've read, which genres you've spent the most time with, and your top-read authors. Additionally, it'll also give you breakdowns of your monthly reading activity.

You can also share these statistics, just like you can with Apple Music Replay. Clicking the share button gives you the option to save a sharable image

You can then send it off to friends and family via apps like Messages or WhatsApp. You can also post it on platforms like Instagram or X.

First panel under Top Picks heading. Took me a while to find it.

Tried it but not sure it offers me anything I need. I’m in a book club but sharing with them would be pretty much telling them what they already know.

I really try to support this app. I really do. Unfortunately the kindle app eats it for breakfast.
Apple seemed to have lost heart in it after that court case. Or after Jobs died maybe.
