Wordcount: 308
Rating: PG for crack!!! (and mentions of adult themes. But only in a cracky way. Really.)
Disclaimer: I do not own Batman, the Joker, or the Superdictionary. DEAR GOD HOW CAN I GO ON?????
Summary: Why did Batman fall into the water? Why is the Joker wearing a dress? How inaccurately can I define common words, anyway? Read on to find out!

Batman and the Joker were fighting on a pier. They were fighting on a long wooden boardwalk over the sea.

“Do not fall off the pier, Batman!” called the Joker. “The water is deep. It has many units of depth. It is the opposite of shallow. It is nearly as deep as my feelings for you.”

“That is deep, Joker,” said Batman. “It is full of meaning. It is nearly as deep as my hatred of you. Anyway, why are you wearing a dress? Why are you wearing an article of traditional female apparel? You are subverting gender stereotypes. Is it to annoy me? Is it to deepen my confusion? Is it because you think that deep down I might like it?”

“I am wearing a dress because I wanted to make a splash! I wanted to get your attention by wearing these clothes. So I splashed out and bought a pretty dress! But now…I think it is YOU who will be making a splash!”

The Joker pushed Batman into the water. He made him fall into the water. Batman made quite a splash!

Then the Joker helped Batman out of the water.

“I am sorry I pushed you into the water. I am sorry you made such a splash falling in to the water. But most of all I’m sorry we had to define the word “splash”. Because if you take out just one letter it becomes “slash”. It becomes the story of two men who develop sexual feelings for each other. Would you like to help me define “slash”, Batman?”

Batman ran away. He moved very fast in a direction away from the Joker. He moved one leg in front of the other until the Joker was nowhere in sight. And he didn’t even compliment him on his dress, first!

And that’s terrible.

...Yep, that made NO SENSE AT ALL. Which means I'm aspiring to the lofty heights (depths?) of the Superdictionary.
And that's wonderful.
