      The posterior compartment of the pupal wing undergoes excess pigmentation in the presence of dopamine in an in vitro melanisation assay in animals expressing mgldsRNA.Scer\UAS.cRa under the control of Scer\GAL4en-e16E. The density of wing hairs is also increased in the posterior compartment of the wing in these animals.
