Searing Steel Kumade Warrior Bonfire's Blaze Ninja of Múspell

Laevatein: Searing Steel

Laevatein is the second princess of Múspell, the Kingdom of Flame. An expert swordswoman, she shares a name with the blade she wields—Laevatein, the Searing Steel!

She was once ordered by her father, King Surtr of Múspell, to attack Askr. We had our work cut out for us fending off such a strong foe!

Heeding the warnings of her sister, Laegjarn, she would always withdraw from battle before she could be seriously wounded—so we never could settle things on the battlefield.

And it's a good thing too, because once Laevatein learned about Laegjarn's desire to protect her, she sheathed her blade. Now, I hear she's working to help rebuild Múspell!

Laevatein

Laegjarn, Laevatein, Níu and Sinmara take their names from the Old Norse poem Fjölsvinnsmál. Lævateinn is a weapon held in Lægjarn's chest, which has nine locks and is guarded by Sinmara. The poem's manuscript reads Hævateinn, but editors amend this to Lævateinn, which could mean "wounding wand".[3]
