The Snowfield is an area from Final Fantasy II. It is located north of Semitt Falls and Salamand and around the entrance to the Snow Cave. Crossing the Snowfield requires a Snowcraft.
In the Origins, Dawn of Souls and 20th Anniversary versions, a minigame is available while riding the Snowcraft in this field.
The grass areas around the Snowfield are considered part of the Snowfield by the menu, and these areas have the regular Snowfield encounters fought on them, albeit on a grass battle background.
