Qumqum, also known as Kum Kum, is an enemy from Final Fantasy III. These monsters can be summoned into battle by Blucks. They can be found on the bottom floors of the Crystal Tower.

At this point in the game, the Kum Kum should present little challenge to the player. However, these creatures can provide a significant EXP boost if manipulated correctly. Blucks will continue to summon them so long as the Bluck itself does not die. In an encounter with a Bluck, allow it to constantly summon Kum Kums without killing it. Depending on how long the player keeps the cycle going, a substantial amount of EXP can be gained.
The Qumqum is significantly more dangerous in the original release, where it has a decent chance of casting Death for an Instant Kill. Stocking up on Softs is recommended too, as they can use Brak2 if not killed quickly enough. Blucks also summon Doga's Clone instead of Qumqum.
