    Bridging the Gap

    Journal
    • A bridge near the Gods' Grip in southeastern La Noscea is in dire need of repair, but Naldiq & Vymelli's cannot send armorers to do the job until the surrounding area has been rid of the violent toll puks which build their nests near the aging span. Hihine believes that eight of the winged scalekin should be sufficient.
    • You have defeated enough toll puks to ensure the safety of the armorers as they make their repairs on the bridge. Return to Hihine and collect your well-deserved reward.

    Assessing the Damage

    Journal
    • A case of miscommunication has seen a load of important cargo containing nacre rings tossed into the Rhotano Sea. Officials from Mealvaan's Gate believe that the rings may have washed up along the eastern La Noscean coastline beyond Camp Bloodshore, and are seeking able-bodied adventurers to travel to the area and cull it of creatures who may have ingested the items. Assessor Haldberk has made it clear you will not receive a reward until you have collected eight rings.
    • You have collected the eight nacre rings requested by Assessor Haldberk. Return to Mealvaan's Gate for your reward.

    Till Death Do Us Part

    Journal
    • H'lahono, resident scullion at the world-famous Bismarck, requires eight pinches of musk roseling pollen to complete her Menphina stew recipe, and is searching for someone to travel to Bloodshore to slay the roselings known to carry the unique spice.
    • You have obtained enough musk roseling pollen to appease H'lahono. Return to the Bismarck and collect payment due.

    Beryl Overboard

    Journal
    • Nanapiri of the Kraken's Arms has found himself in dire need of eight beryl crab shells, and is looking for an able-bodied adventurer to travel to Bloodshore and slay beryl crabs until enough shells have been collected.
    • You have successfully obtained eight beryl crab shells, all in pristine condition. Return to the Astalicia with the items and speak with Nanapiri to receive compensation for your efforts.

    Have You Seen My Son

    Journal
    • Imania is desperately seeking word of her son, Coster, who left Limsa Lominsa several years ago to make a name for himself in Ul'dah. She believes he may be working at Amajina & Sons Mineral Concern, and would appreciate it if you could tell him that his mother is worried sick, should you happen across him.
    • Amajina & Sons' employee Yuyubesu recalls recently seeing a young man who fits the description of Coster. It seems Imania's son is scouring the city-state, looking to purchase large quantities of white ash, and Yuyubesu believes that if you were to collect at least eight pinches of your own from bomb embers living in Nanawa Mines, you may be able to lure Coster back to the guild.
    • You have collected enough white ash. Now return to Amajina & Sons Mineral Concern and see if Yuyubesu has any news on Coster.
    • Rumors of your white ash supply have reached the ears of an interested buyer. While that buyer, Hildie, is not the man you seek, she may have information on Coster and his whereabouts. Seek her out at the Quicksand.

    Revenge on the Reavers

    Journal
    • Chaunollet of the Knights of the Barracuda has petitioned your assistance in dispatching several Serpent Reavers—minions of the Sahagin—lurking in the caves of Mistbeard Cove. As proof of their demise at your hands, return to him with no less than eight Reaver wristlets.
    • You have slain eight Serpent Reavers and collected their wristlets as proof of your bloody deed. Return to Chaunollet in the Coral Tower to receive your reward.

    The Tug of the Whorl

    Journal
    • Barracuda Knight Ginnade has petitioned you to call upon five Lominsan citizens and collect what information you can on winning the trust of the city's pirates. The location of each informant has been marked on your map.
    • You have successfully completed your questioning of all five informants. Report back to Ginnade in the Coral Tower to receive your reward.

    Trading Tongueflaps

    Journal
    • From what you can gather, the goblin Sweetnix is willing to pay you handsomely to go and speak with a bow-wielding Yellowjacket named Ryssfloh stationed at Camp Bearded Rock.
    • Ryssfloh has divulged quite a bit of information about his camp, his duties, and his discontent concerning a current trend amongst thalassocratic officals to cut funding for the First Squadron Second Levy Infantry. He has also asked you to keep the information to yourself, but doing that would result in missing out on your reward of jinglyshine from Sweetnix. To reveal or not to reveal—the choice is yours.

    Winds of Change

    Journal
    • Zanthael of the Knights of the Barracuda has been ordered to relay a special set of commands to city guard stationed in various locations throughout Limsa Lominsa. However, protocol is preventing him from leaving his post, and therefore the knight has asked you to deliver the remaining five warrants in his stead. The location of his brothers has been marked on your map.
    • You have distributed the warrants to all five remaining city guards. Return to Zanthael and report your completion of the task.
    • Several of the suspicious individuals mentioned in the warrants you just delivered have been sighted entering a depression near Camp Bearded Rock. A pirate uprising on the docks has the Knights of the Barracuda shorthanded, and so Zanthael has asked if you will travel to a set of caverns in the Bearded Rock area and provide assistance to the two Barracuda units already dispatched to the location.

※ Up to two party members may accompany you.

    • You have saved a small party from being captured by the band of imperial operatives. Speak with them to find out who they are and why they are here in La Noscea.
    • The delegation from the Garlond Ironworks has left safely for Limsa Lominsa. Report back to Zanthael to receive your reward.

    Moonstruck

    Journal
    • Winemaker I'nairoh would like to travel to Bloodshore to get a better view of the growing lesser moon, Dalamud, and decide whether or not the time is right to harvest this season's grapes; however, several violent creatures are preventing her from making the journey. She has asked you to seek out and slay the beasts for her.

※ Up to two party members may accompany you.

    • The path from Wineport to Bloodshore seems relatively safe. Return to the hamlet and see if I'nairoh was able to complete her journey.

    Letting Out Orion's Belt

    Journal
    • To help Captain Ahldskyf of the trading ship Orion convince the ship's owner to allow him to sell La Noscean flour to the noble houses of Radz-at-Han, he wants you to take pieces of fishtack baked by the ship's cook to four local gourmands and see what they have to say.
    • You've spoken with all four gourmands. Return to Captain Ahldskyf and tell him what they told you.

    Food for Thought

    Journal
    • Dympna would have you draw the attention of five particularly gullible Lominsans to her article in the Harbor Herald concerning a mysterious culinary dish which is known to cause those who consume it to become infatuated with whomever serves it to them. In the words of Dympna, do not forget to "psych" yourself up before speaking to the five.
    • You have spoken to all five people indicated by Dympna. Return to Thundersquall Thundersticks to receive your reward.

    Seashells by the Seashore

    Journal
    • Little Fupepe longs to gaze upon the golden sands of Bloodshore, but has been forbidden by her evil father to leave the hamlet. She has instead asked you to journey to the remote area in her stead and find her four conch shells. Beware of any "scary monsters" that might be lurking near the beaches.
    • You have collected enough shells to make Fupepe a happy girl. Return to Aleport and receive your reward.

    Fishing for Answers

    Journal
    • Renowned Lominsan angler Robairlain believes that giant crabs are the cause of declining fish populations in Galadion Bay. Travel to the crab feeding grounds and slay five of the colossal crustaceans so he may test his theory.
    • You have defeated the number of crabs specified by Robairlain in his request. Return to the fisher at his favorite spot on the docks to collect your reward.

    Sour Grapes

    Journal
    • Winemaker Syzfrusk has yet to receive a shipment of grapes from his supplier at Red Rooster Stead. He needs you to make the short journey to the local vineyard and ask Lolojo if anything is amiss.
    • Lolojo claims that the season's harvest was stolen by a band of kobolds. Return to Wineport and give Syzfrusk the bad news.

    Shot Through the Heart

    Journal
    • Mynadaeg of the Knights of the Barracuda seeks revenge on the Executioners for their supposed involvement in the recent sinking of the galley Braveheart, but to do so, he first needs solid evidence. Travel to the coastline east of Cassiopeia Hollow and begin combing the beaches for washed-up debris immediately.

※ Up to two party members may accompany you.

    • Upon your arrival at the designated beach, you are attacked by a school of deepsea anglers. Now that they are slain, you can continue your search for evidence.
    • During your search, you encounter a Barracuda Knight who introduces herself as Malin. She tells you that the Executioners have already stripped the beach of any evidence that may be used to incriminate them, but not before she recovered a holster containing a weapon known as Death Sentence. She insists, however, that this item is not the evidence you seek. Speak with Malin again, and use the Echo to learn the truth behind the weapon.
    • According to Malin, the sinking of the Braveheart was a direct result of a plan conceived by the exiled officer to assassinate Hyllfyr, captain of the Bloody Executioners. Using the Echo, you learn that the plan goes awry, and the pirates overwhelm the Lominsan galley, killing nearly everyone on the ship. Malin is on the verge of taking her own life when none other than Admiral Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn appears and successfully talks down Captain Hyllfyr. When you return from your vision, you find that Malin has vanished, but left her firearm. Return with it to Mynadaeg in the Coral Tower and report your findings.

    Sniffing Out a Profit

    Journal
    • After being ordered by his employer to find a new shipment of profit-turning cargo, Orion captain Ahldskyf finds himself in a proverbial pickle. As he cannot leave the city, the captain has asked that you help him by traveling to a small settlement called Halfstone and seeing if there is anything at the farmstead worth exporting. Halfstone can be reached via the De Nevelle Westroad.
    • True to its name, the soil in Halfstone is littered with rocks and boulders, making it a poor location for growing anything but a pleasant-looking weed known as Althyk lavender. Return to Ahldskyf with the details of your findings.

    What a Pirate Wants

    Journal
    • According to Drowning Wench owner Baderon Tenfingers, Maelstrom Command has ordered the Knights of the Barracuda to uncover the truth behind rumors of treasure buried in a system of caverns known as Shposhae. They are seeking adventurers to assist them. Speak with Tefh Moshroca at the Coral Tower for details.
    • Tefh Moshroca of the Knights of the Barracuda has instructed you to contact an agent named Hasthwab working undercover as a crewman on the Astalicia. He will know you by the bottle of vintage rum you bring him.

    Call of Booty

    Journal
    • Hasthwab has told you all he knows about Shposhae and the self-proclaimed king of the pirates, Mistbeard. It appears that after stealing a ship full of treasure from the sultan of Ul'dah, the infamous pirate and his crew vanished. However, now rumors have emerged that the booty may be hidden somewhere in the so-called Sahagin den located to the southeast of Limsa Lominsa. Entrance to the caverns is not in any way prohibited, but Hasthwab strongly suggests that you pay your courtesies to one F'ongho before delving inside.

    A Misty Past

    Journal
    • At the entrance to Shposhae, F'ongho tells you that she seeks incriminating material with which to blacken Admiral Merlwyb's good name. Rumor has it the Admiral had dark relations with the legendary pirate Mistbeard, and the proof of this is believed to slumber deep within Shposhae. Seeing that you already have a mind to enter the cave, the pirate petitions your aid in acquiring that proof, which she says can be found in the vicinity of a rosy light that lures fireballs.
    • You have obtained Mistbeard insignia ring, which is in all likelihood the proof F'ongho seeks. Hurry back to the entrance, where the pirate stands vigil.
    • After examining your find, F'ongho questions you as to the manner of creature that was prowling near where you found Mistbeard insignia ring. Take your time and answer well.

    Carving a Name

    Journal
    • Sizha Epocan, a sculptor from Wineport, is looking for an adventurer to procure a rare stone wrenched from the bosom of Hydaelyn by kobold miners. Enter the kobold encampment found in upper La Noscea, and secure a slab of yellow marble for the artist's latest work. The valuable slab of yellow marble is likely under lock and key, and the local inhabitants will doubtless require some encouragement if they are to relinquish it.
    • You have acquired a brass kobold strongbox key from the local kobolds. It may aid you in your quest to retrieve the slab of yellow marble. Search the area for anything that might hold the material you seek.
    • You have acquired the slab of yellow marble. Return to Wineport, and deliver the material to Sizha Epocan.
