    The Level 70 Magic, formerly called L.70 Magic and L70Magic, is an enemy in Final Fantasy VI fought in Cultists' Tower.

    Stats

    Battle

    Every turn, Level 70 casts Firaga, Blizzaga, or Thundaga. It counters attacks with Rasp, Shell, or Sleep. It has inherent reflect and is weak to Ice Ice and Water Water.

    Strategy

    The simplest way to deal with Level 70 Magic is to cast Banish, as they are not immune to instant death.

    If the player does not have Banish, they should cast Reflect on a party member and bounce Blizzaga spells onto them to hit the enemy's weakness. Alternatively, in the Advance and 2014 releases, the Flood spell will bypass Reflect and hit the Level 70 Magic's second weakness to Water. The player can also use Ultima since it will also bypass Reflect.
