Heh. The ladies are at it agian.

Ever wonder what women talk about when they go out to eat?

Rikku looked over to Lulu. "Can you help me? I'm sort of at a loss and I know that you’re wise and all knowing." she said with a bow and smile.

Lulu raised an eyebrow, "What do you need help with?" She had a few years on Rikku, but other than ageist wisdom, she had no idea what she could possibly advise Rikku on.

"Well see, there's this guy." she said making eye contact with Lulu. "I really like him and he said he thinks I'm cute, but I don't really know what to do. He's the badass type, but he's so sweet to me." She looked down at her glass. "I helped him home the other night because I met him on the way to the store and he was falling down drunk. I told him when he was sober that I had been worried about him and he seemed surprised that I said that."

Lulu chuckled. "I think that you should be careful around men like that." Sitting back in her chair, she thought a moment. "Rikku, is it really that important to figure all of this out right now?"

Rikku sighed. "I don't know, I guess not, but I wish I could keep my big mouth shut sometimes." she said as she took a drink. "I shouldn't have told him .. " she said quietly as she trailed off.

Lulu smirked. "Yes, your mouth can get you into trouble. But, as long as you remember that, you'll be fine." She sighed once more, wishing that she didn't have to play love doctor when her own love life was non existent. Then, she doubled back on what Rikku was saying. "so you told this boy that you have feelings for him?"

She looked up with saddened eyes to Lulu. "I told him a whole lot more then that!"

Lulu could feel her nostrils flare in disgust. "We are talking about Seifer, are we not?"

Rikku then looked down to the table. "Yes." she said quietly.

"Then, I think I shall advise you to keep your distance until you know him better." She shook her head. Lulu was more of the quiet type, but her attitude was considered bitchy, regardless of how else she wanted to come off. "I'm sure you have nothing to worry about, but I don't want you to get in over your head."

Looking up Rikku sighed. "He spent the night at my house." she blinked a few times, "I think I really do like him, I even promised not to steal anything from him."

"I'm very impressed...with the stealing." Lulu was certain that by the end of this conversation, her eyebrows would be permanently arched to the middle of her forehead. "However...I don't know what to say to you on this." She took a drink of the water that was before her. Lulu wasn't much of a drinker. "Rikku, it's your choice, you know."

As the waitress passed her, Rikku ordered another soda and looked back to Lulu. "I like him a lot and he's so sweet to me, though I was told to preach to everyone about how much of an asshole he is." she said with a giggle. "He made me breakfast." She smiled and said thank you to the waitress as she returned with her drink. "To Rikku the innocent." She said as she raised her glass and took a drink.

"Wait, he told you to tell everyone that he was an asshole? That sounds...odd."

She nodded as she set down her glass. "He said that he has a hell of a reputation to handle." she laughs "When you find him staggering out of a bar with a big bruise on the side of his face I think it would come to mind instantly."

Lulu sneered. "Listen, I don't like strangers to begin with. I don't think it's wise to get involved with a man who regularly gets into bar fights."

Rikku looked up with big eyes. "But I like bad boys." she pushed her drink aside "I'm tired of being the nice good little girl that I am. I want to be more. I'm sick of being pure. I mean common! I asked him what being drunk was like, I don't even know!"

Yuna was so much easier to handle than THIS. At least the former summoner had the brains to pick men who weren't...ok, never mind. Lulu looked around the nearly empty bar. "Bad boys aren't always the easiest to keep in line." She nodded. "Why are you really interested in him? Is it because he's bad?"

"Not really." she said "The way he talks and the way I have seen him act around others, I feel like he is a completely different person around me." Rikku tilted her head back as she slouched in her chair. "He's so sweet and he held his door open for me when we left .." she said trailing off.

"I suppose I can't dissuade you, Rikku. I believe that you should just do what you feel is right." Lulu hated giving love advice. It made her realize that she was a complete fool when it came to the subject.

"Well, I mean I do want other people's opinions." She looked around. "I just wish that I knew what he was thinking sometimes."

"...ask him?" Lulu leaned over the table, and rested her elbows on the end.

Rikku smiled. "I want to ask him, but I wish he would just tell me. I mean he is very out spoken, and says what’s on his mind, but only if I provoke him."

Lulu chuckled, "Men are stupid sometimes, Rikku. You have to prod them."

Rikku tilted her head, "So much I don't know." As a waitress walked by one could see Rikku's shoulder move slightly and when the women rounded the corner into the kitchen Rikku set a small tan pouch on the table's surface, poured out it's contents and proceeded to toss the bag to the other side of the room. "You think this would pay for lunch?"

Lulu quickly eyed the contents of the pouch. "I think that would be more than enough, Rikku." She stood slowly, hoping that Rikku's payment offer meant that they were leaving the dank bar. "I think we should get out of here." She said with a nod. Grabbing her moogle doll, she turned to look for the door. "What else has been going on? I haven't had the chance to meet many of the new people about." Except Seifer, and that wasn't impressive.

Rikku counted out the change and left the extra for a tip. "Nothing really." she said as she stood up. "I was attempting to get a job, but I thought well hell, if I need anything I'll steal it." As they left their waitress smiled and bid them a good day. Rikku smiled back to her "Thanks for everything!"
