Tutorial + PSD 1

1. Open a new canvas and paste a picture in it.
2. Add a new selective color layer: NEUTRALS: yellow: -50. Only do this step if your picture has a lot of yellow in it like mine.
3. Duplicate your base, drag it above the selective color layer and set to screen. I added 3 of these screen layers.
4. Duplicate your base, drag it on top and set to soft light. Instead of this soft light layer you can also add a new brightness/contrast layer (brightness: -30 and contrast: +30 or something like that)
5. If you added the soft light layer, sharpen it. If you used a brightness contrast layer, sharpen one of the screen layers. If you didn't use any screen layers: duplicate your base, sharpen the duplicate and then lower the opacity of this layer to adjust the sharpness.
6. Add a new layer, fill with color #320900 and change the blend mode to exclusion.
7. Layer -> new adjustment layer -> selective color.
REDS: +10 +10 0 0
YELLOWS: 0 0 -10 0
WHITES: 0 -30 -100 0
NEUTRALS: 0 0 -10 0
BLACKS: 0 0 0 +10
8. Layer -> new adjustment layer -> channel mixer.
RED: +85 +5 0, constant: 0
Don't change anything on the green and blue channel.
9. Other examples (minor changes of the settings)
