Utility bill payment options

Current alerts

  • MISSING PAYMENT ALERT: The City has been notified that some mailed utility payments dated January 7-10, 2026, were not received by the City and were not posted to Utility Accounts. If your mailed payment has not cleared your bank account, or posted to your utility account, please give Utility Billing a call at 425.257.8999. We are investigating what appears to be a theft of mailed checks occurring between point of deposit into the US Postal Service mail stream and receipt by our bank.
  • Starting in March 2026, we're shifting to monthly meter readings instead of our current practice of reading your water meter every other month. What does this mean for you? To catch the billing cycle up to the new meter reading cycle, we’re using three "bridge" cycles of about 40 days each. This spreads the transition cost out over 90 days (instead of putting it all on one bill), keeping the temporary payment increase modest until we reach our permanent monthly schedule. During these "bridge" cycles, you might see higher than usual bills. This doesn't mean we're charging you more for your water; the bill may be higher simply because it includes more days of service. View the letter that was sent to utility customers for more details on this change.
