Get involved and make a difference

City commissions, boards and committees provide unique and rewarding experiences to get involved in your community. These advisory groups: form new ideas, gather information, receive public comments, analyze complex issues and the make recommendations for specific projects and policies.

Public opinion can be sharply divided and some issues and groups may overlap. So the work can be challenging and complex but makes a positive and meaningful difference.

View the Board and Commission Handbook (PDF) to learn more about the different boards.
