Huzzah, an up-date on time! I know... you are so amazed.

I've managed to somewhat wrangle the cold down and kick it until it screams. Now if I can just chase it out of town, I think I'll be okay. For now, I'm abusing medications I would normally never deign to take (i.e. DayQuil).

Can I just say... Oklahoma is currently THICK with mosquitoes. We've been in a drought so long, suddenly we get a couple days of rain and WHAM!! It's like Woodstock for the little bitches (because, you know, only female mosquitoes drink blood; the males drink pollen from flowers. females need protein to lay eggs, so whenever you're being bitten by that obnoxious mosquito, the slut probably just got pregnant and needs your blood to bring in the next obnoxious generation. "the ciiiiircle of liiiiiiiife...").

He's made up his mind. I mean, obviously the hospital staff WILL force him to eat and shower at SOME point. God knows we can't have the people at the bedside disturbing other patients with their unshowered funk.

Aaaand I'm done. Due to the fact that this arc is very serious, it has made me kinda silly in the commentary. D'oh.
