Character Type: Master Vampire, Belle's Line
Abilities:
Vampire:
Taste Emotions: He knows what you are feeling. Proximity makes this stronger, touch makes this strongest. Won't work outside of a ten yard radius. In proximity, he can define strong or typical emotions (love, hurt, pain anger) and through touch he can get specifics (jealousy, lust, etc). He will not know why you are feeling them or to whom you are feeling them towards.
Heighten or Dampen Emotions: Kennedy is able to pinpoint any emotion (one at a time) you are feeling and tamp them down or bolster them. He typically uses this in therapy to decrease anxiety or anger and the like in order to assist patients in speaking more easily about their problems. Within a five yard radius.
Change Emotion: Through touch alone, he is able to literally subtract or insert an emotion. This can be a small, subtle emotion or an overwhelming one.
Animal to Call: Kennedy is able to call leopards.

Kennedy is 5'11 with broad shoulders and a well muscled frame. He was athletic before his death and is frozen in that form in undeath. His hair is dark brown, eyes a murky greenish brown and usually wears non prescription glasses to make his human patients feel more comfortable. He tends to wear slacks with matching vests and oxford shirts. Occasionally a sweater vest. Almost never jeans. No scars or distinguishing marks.
PB: Zachary Quinto
Personality:
Some would say he's a cold fish and utterly lacking in personality. In truth, Kennedy simply enjoys life in a different way than others. He sees the mind as a puzzle and mental illness as pieces fit into the wrong places. And Kennedy enjoys puzzles. He spends much of his free time reading peer reviewed journals on psychology for errors made by his colleagues and writing up rebuttal articles lining out said errors point by point. It isn't maliciousness on his part, he simply enjoys the challenge and thinks his peers will appreciate the same. Pus, they're just plain wrong and need to be corrected.
The last time he had sex was in the late 1990's and he hadn't taken a pomme since. They always become attached and that attachment is one sided. Most people need a dictionary around him and he gives no effort into speech geared towards the lay person. If someone does not understand what he says, he will very thoroughly and readily explain without condescension. He is fluent in Latin and Greek, with an interest to learn Japanese considering the high suicide rate in the country and the research that must be coming out of that part of the world.
History/Background:
Kennedy was born Fitzpatrick Daniel Kennedy to a solidly middle class and surprisingly protestant family in Boston. His father was a partner in a European liquor import business and believed heartily in the value of hard work and education. Thus, every summer was spent working for his father and every school season spent studying hard enough to be at the top of his class. After graduation college, he went on to medical school where he excelled due to his hard work, and was known as the voice of reason among his cohorts when they suggested what to do with the corpses after gross anatomy had concluded.
After his medical school graduation, his father arranged for a trip to Europe in celebration of all that hard work. That was the last his family would hear from him. While traveling through Wiltshire on the way to London via horse after missing his train, Kennedy found himself caught in a sudden downpour and took shelter at a nearby manor house that so graciously offered to let him stay. The rain seemed unwilling to let up the next morning and the lady of the manor herself invited him to stay.
And stay he did. There was something about the smooth cream of her pale skin, like carved marble, the way her thick copper hair fell to her waist in ringlets. For once he decided to damn the proper thing and remain with her. They never married, but made love often, he found her little fetish of biting him to be oddly erotic until the night it turned him. He took the news of his new condition with aplomb and continued to practice medicine at the nearby village in the evenings.
Two decades passed and the affection between them waned. Kennedy returned to the states after an arduous month at sea and began practicing medicine once more. He met John Watson in Cambridge and thus the focus of his practice shifted to behaviorism. For years he kept up his medical skills and learned everything he could about the growing field of psychology. The Master of Boston found this useful and propped Kennedy's private practice with business from the Court. As his power began to grow, the Master made it clear Kennedy would need to attach closer to Court or simply leave.
Thus, Kennedy sought employment else where and found it in Oklahoma City under the Master there. It was here that he was given the recently rescued slaves of the House of Morpheus to counsel. Because the slaves were being kept in the Master's House and because there was also a Mora being housed there, Kennedy took the lone harmless female former slave in as sort of a pet project and in part to protect her.
Merrilee quickly developed a place in his life and Kennedy went so far as to buy her a kitten and indulge her pink fluffy wants. In turn, he allowed her to become his pomme, after she asked, and this rich changeling blood is what pushed him over the edge to gain full Mastery of his power. After a few months, he took Merrilee and moved to San Francisco for reasons he will never speak of.

"The best course of treatment, in my professional opinion is CBT. It happens to be my current specialty and I can provide you with the pertinent literature before you decide to continue your sessions with me," Kennedy replied neatly. He leaned back in the black ergonomic leather chair, notepad and Mont Blanc pen in hand.
On the small sofa at an angle to him, the werewolf raised an eyebrow, "Doc, I don't think that's going to help with my problem. That's. . a fucking weird thing to do for panic disorder."
Kennedy's brow creased, "Mister Vargas, I assure you that CBT is a highly accredited method that has excellent results. If you would just read the literature-"
Vargas interrupted, "Look, I'm all for getting over my panic attacks, but cock and ball torture? I don't see the connection at all."
The vampire's only reaction was a very slow blink, "CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Retraining your reactions and behavior by retraining the way you think and react." Kennedy made a mental note to not abbreviate the term in the future as Vargas tried to hide a slightly embarrassed flush.
