old and new holes

Here I am holding an ice pack on my lip, I just had it re-pierced. It is so swollen, but that is not what is irritating me, its also totally numb and not from the ice pack. I guess he nipped a nerve or something and now this little section of my lip directly under the piercing is numb. It was not even a NEW piercing, it was an old one, he even used the same hole. Perhaps it was from the scar tissue, perhaps he just messed it up.
 
Either way I just wish the swelling would go down since its making the bar actually sink into my lip and it even came out yesterday and I had to mess with it for an hour to get it back in,..that may be partially why its so swollen but I guess there is nothing to do but hang in there.

I have had about 21 piercings in all, some I let close, then redone,..but most are gone now and I wanted to start again fresh. *sigh* So much for that. I guess I should be lucky that I NEVER had a problem until now, especially after all the horror stories I have seen and heard, guess I have my own now too.
